No kind waitress, not smiling! We were down for a good night... it was a bad thing! only positive point the quality of the dishes but very disappointed of the rest!

This is a popular local eatery. The food is of good quality and very reasonably priced. Recipes are from Vietnam and China, amongst others. It seems to cater for the French market, so the flavours and seasonlings are very muted (compared, say, with oriental restaurants in the UK), but still delicious.

We loved the food in this restaurant. The starter of veg and prawn wrap followed by ginger chicken spicy chicken was delicious. Freshly prepared. The Pinot blanc was also lovely and none of that post Chinese SG taste you so often get in the UK The service was friendly but haphazard. We asked for dessert menu but never got them and the bill took ages to come but we had met some charming German folk and enjoyed their chat as we waited. No English menu and quite complicated to choose.

I had booked but my reservation wasn't really taken into account. Anyway, the beginning went very well, we take a menu. Having an appetite sometimes random, I realize that I am no longer hungry after the entrance, I am not worried by saying that in all cases I can ask for a doggy bag to bring back what I did not consume (restaurants have to do it since January 2016). I'm barely starting my plate and I'm stopping here. The waitress arrives, I ask her nicely if I can take what I didn't eat (I barely touched a dish because I couldn't) she answers me: no it's not possible sorry. I don't understand why she couldn't. Anyway, I had to force myself to finish. I've had a stomachache since last night....
