the best assatic French restaurant on the east coast. in 35 years eating in chez francois, neither I nor three generations of my extended family had ever served less than a delicious meal by a carefully attentive staff. we come back for holidays and special occasions.

visited the restaurant for a event and loved it! the ambiente was great, service amazing, and eating was phenomenal. everything was delicious, my absolute favorites were: appetizer meat cheeks entrees trout, and beef tenderloin dessert cheesecake will definitely be back to this hidden gem!

We have celebrated our anniversary at L'Auberge for two years now, and what an experience! We cannot recommend this place enough for special occasions. The service is exceptional, the food is incredible and the Sommelier is very knowledgeable and helpful. We look forward to celebrating with them again next year!

Outstanding and refined French cuisine. Consistently one of the top restaurants in the DC metro area. This was a business lunch. I had the halibut special that came with a beurre blanc and caper sauce. The vegetables that accompanied the fish (steamed half potato carrots yellow beet, mini squash, Brussel sprout and green beans) had distinct flavors, the way real vegetables should be but rarely are these days. The prix fixe menu comes with a choice of appetizer, salad (extra), main dish, and dessert. Full bar.

fantastic, fine culinary experience. we came here on a Sunday afternoon for a family event and it was fantastic, and so it was worth it. I really enjoyed the fact that the restaurant is secluded and quiet. the menu could initially be overwhelming, but the staff is super patient, friendly and informative. the fixed price menu includes an appetizer, salate, emptied and dessert. la coquille de crustaces was a very tasty and fresh starter, which I would recommend to those who love seafood. for a escape the lamb flakes were perfectly cooked and seasoned while the ice dessert with cake was great without being too sweet. the salat would be the only court I thought to be directed on average among al...

Dined here for Sunday Lunch last weekend. The service was exceptional. My husband had visited in the past and knew it was a prix fixe menu but it was my first time. It was a pleasure to have a sommelier come over to our table to meet us and advise on a Cabernet that we both enjoyed. I’ve ordered escargot at other restaurants but this was truly authentic. Don’t let it intimidate you, because they were easily removed from their shells, as well. I ordered the veal and it was a great choice. The sauce was a nice compliment to the flavors.
