"My friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant on a sunny evening having just visited the Sacre Coeur. The menu had a good variety of dishes and the prices were reasonable, so we stepped inside and were offered a lovely table right next to the open front doors looking out onto the street. There was a good choice of starters, mains and desserts and the menu was not overly extensive which made the choice easier. My friend ordered moules and frites and I ordered the burger. We were both astonished to see how generous the portions were. The giant dish of moules seemed to go on forever and my burger was not one, but two enormous burgers smothered in cheese in a bun, with a side salad and chips. The service was very quick and once served we were left to eat in peace. The food was good and filling and great value (13 and 14 euros each). The location was ideal with the sun shining in through the open doors and the sound of buskers and tourists wandering through Montmarte. We felt so welcome and at home that we returned the following night. We had ate at midday so decided to go for something light. There was a good selection of salads and we both chose the seafood one. The salads arrived in very deep bowls with crusty bread and were just perfect. So, two visits in two days and we were impressed each time. Chez Ma Cousine is a lovely place to get a filling meal and is great value considering the location. We will return on our next visit to Paris!"

We went here for lunch.This is in the main square area.The food was excellent. The ambiance is poor.The tables are very crowded. One one person serving .He was excellent.

Menu complet à un prix abordable, plutôt rare dans le secteur. Ce n’est pas de la grande cuisine, mais on ne vient pas chercher cela dans ce type de restaurant. La qualité était tout à fait satisfaisante.

I was in Paris 11 years ago and we had a delicious dinner here....best beef bourguignon I ever had... Just came here today, now with my children & parents....and had the beef bourguignon for lunch.....delicious! So happy to be here after all these years!

This was an unexpected pleasure. We popped in for lunch since it was not as busy as the other restaurants at the time. We both had the daily specials and were very surprised. Both the fried fish and the burger were very good. We are in the area for a few days I hope to get back soon.

we went in and said hello to the man behind the counter. He started muttering in French damn foreigners who think everyone speaks English , without responding to our greeting. i asked if there was room for two, he didn 't answer but continued to mumble insults about foreigners. so we left. What a rasist idiot.

On our afternoon in Montmartre, this was a pleasant lunch spot. My husband and I both ordered French onion soup which was delicious! I had flank steak with pomme frites. My husband had salmon and rice which was garnished with parsley flakes and very tasty. Service was relaxed and not rushed. Lemon tart drizzled with raspberry sauce was a luscious way to end the meal.
