"Just as little Spanish is spoken here, the dishes taste little like Mexican cuisine. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't taste bad. The dishes themselves have Mexican names and some of them look like them too. But in terms of taste (ingredients, spices, etc. it's miles away. Fries and homemade lemonade were delicious. Nacho's special is loveless and boring. Enchilada and burrito boring and only superficially Mexican. The ambience and service are less like a restaurant and more like a fast food restaurant. Price-performance is completely OK. Overall, you can eat here and it mostly tastes good. But if you want authentic Mexican food, you should go somewhere else."

We have recently moved here and have been eating for the second time at Chichilas... Granted: I'm not an expert for Mexican food but this is really delicious! Good portions and absolutely fair prices! And nicely they are also here... that fits!!!

We weren't impressed with this place. Nachos were nice, but we had them vegetarian. Also had a veggie burrito and enchiladas which seemed more like a burrito with cheese on top. There was lots of curry rice everywhere, not exactly very Mexican. We wouldn't go back.
