"We are on holiday and learned there was a Karoke on on the Saturday night at this bar, starting at 7pm, So we booked to eat at 6.30pm. The food was not bad enough to complain but not good enough for a compliment. The Karoke started off okay and my wife became the fourth singer in the queue. BY the time 7 people had sung, we were back at the 1st singer and then the 2nd singer all perfectly acceptable and right. But then more and more regulars came in and suddenly, none regulars were ignored and regulars suddenly took preference at singing, with many of them getting 3 songs before my wife was called to sing her second song????? This was bad enough but as the evening moved on, the landlady decided it was her Karoke so she could sing what she wanted, whenever she wanted and she would choose who else could also sing out of turn. This is one of my pet hates about Karokes where the host gives preference to the regulars and the other people just have to put up with it. I absolutely hate it. We will not still be on holiday for next weeks Karoke at CK1 cafe and bar as if we were, we would not attend anyway, but until we go home, we will never visit this bar again as I am not giving my money to any bar that treats its none regular customers with contempt. In addition, by and large, I do not check my bill at the end of an evening, but this time, for some reason I did. It was wrong as I had been overcharged. It was put right without question AND without apology. It may well have been a genuine mistake but overcharging holiday makers and immediately correcting the extra costs without question when challenged does make me wonder how many bills also had mistakes that had been paid without checking first."

OMG what a fantastic 3 day celebration we have had. Celebrating my husbands 50th and what a celebration it was! Paul and Kirsty went all out for us and we had an absolute blast. There was music, magician, stevie spit, Terry J, James Goulding, Karaoke and to top it off the food was absolutely second to none. Huge, huge, huge thank you to Zack who done us the best barbecue ever( thanks for the extra prawns and the curry’s were superb. I can’t thank these guys enough. Everyone loved it. Bar staff were totally on the ball and kept us topped up, probably their fault we were a bit tipsy but never mind!!! I would definitely recommend paying these guys a visit, you will most definitely not bee disap...
