"We ate well at Coa de Peix in April 2019, four days after it had opened, replacing a little Japanese restaurant on the front. Returning now to Ciutadella we were delighted to see that Coa de Peix had moved 20 metres along the front to a much larger establishment. Clearly they have been doing well. We received a warm welcome and booked again. To start we ate mussels mariniere with some patatas bravas to help mop up the juices. Mussels can often be overcooked, but these were just right. For our main course we had the two pulpo dishes which we shared. One dish was simply pulpo chunks in a delicate tempura batter, the other a substantial tentacle with sesame seeds and mashed potato. We enjoyed both and were far too full for a pudding! Together with a bottle of good albarino and coffees the bill was €75 for the two of us. Note also that the map location on Trip Adviser is wrong but the address is correct. Coa de Peix is on the Passeig des Moll on the north side of the cala."

We booked a table three days in advance at 10.30pm. When we arrived, a lady told us our booking was at 9pm, which was not true, and she dismissed us. We tried to explain it wasn’t possible that we booked at 9pm cause we had a day arrangement that couldn’t suit a reservation at that time but she was adamant. She didn’t even believe us nor try to make up for the the mess. Terrible service.
