"My daughter and I are regular visitors to this coffee shop and have always had a positive experience. This morning, we decided to stop by around 11am for some coffee and cake. The place was quite crowded, with most of the tables already taken. However, our experience was quickly ruined when a couple arrived with three large dogs that were barking and whining. They sat near us, and my daughter, who has a severe fur allergy, immediately took an antihistamine. The dogs had a strong odor and, although they eventually settled down, they were restless. Shortly after, my daughter began sneezing and wheezing, forcing us to leave before we could finish our drinks. While the presence of dogs may be acceptable in bars where there is more space and people are not eating, it is completely inappropriate in a busy, enclosed environment where food is being served. We will likely return to this coffee shop in the future, but if this situation becomes a regular occurrence, we may have to find a different venue."

I really enjoyed spending half an hour here in the mornings before work. The coffee was excellent and always came with a friendly smile. A special mention to Ceri and her amazing coffee artistry!

Very average. We were made to feel like we were an inconvenience when we ordered coffee and cake 30 mins before closing time even though we finished and left before the coffee shop closed. Coffee and cake was ok but atmosphere a let down.

Great staff, as always. Is their expresso as good as home ground and machine? Maybe not, but very fine and better than S**tbucks. My son's Avocado FrappaCrappucino was, he said, better than Somanybucks, and that is some compliment. Had a sip, and it was a fab fousand calories. Thanks to Ceri and all staff.

I often come here with my two small children and on those days when parenting just feels a bit too much I’m always met with a lovely smile and a great coffee to keep me going! They do a fab kids hot chocolate too so we all leave feeling so much better than when we went in! Thank you to the lovely staff for always making me feel welcome even though they’re pretty much always rushed off their feet. The tables are also really clean and ready rarely see any leftover cups waiting around to be collected. Overall great!

Yesterday, my friend and I went to have coffee in Whitchurch village. We ordered coffee and cake, which were good. However, our experience was interrupted when a couple came in with three medium-sized, ill-behaved dogs. Despite our discomfort with having dogs nearby while we ate, we tolerated it. Unfortunately, the smell of the dogs' breath and fur was unpleasant and hard to bear. We decided to leave as soon as we finished our drinks, and as we were leaving, the dogs began barking loudly with excitement. Although I like dogs, I found their presence in the restaurant unacceptable. There was no visible "Dog Friendly" notice in the shop. The coffee and food were fine, but I rated the experience...

"It was the most bizarre experience dining here. First when we arrived in the restaurant, our group set up was that there was someone on each end who was sitting facing an empty chair on the other side of the table. Upon enquiry we understood it was a covid measure, however never had any other restaurants requesting such seating arrangements in the past 20 months. We ordered two split pots, a non-spicy broth for one side of the pot and a spicy broth for the other side. The staff came to confirm that we wanted spicy/non-spicy in each pot. Yes, we said. To our shock when the pots came, one pot was spicy/spicy on both side, and the other was non-spicy/non-spicy on both sides. This was after the staff had came by to confirm that we wanted a spicy/non-spicy set-up, and in the usual situation a person wanting a spicy broth would not have asked for a split pot. We raised this to the staff and were clearly unhappy about it, though did not insist on having the broths changed around. What happened next made it the most awkward and uncomfortable dining experience ever. From where we were sitting, we could hear the owner reprimanding the staff for the error, throughout our meal. We understand mistakes occur and if the owner was unhappy about the mistake and genuinely wanted to apologise, taking the initiative to change the broth to the right setup, or a complimentary drink or dish would have gone a long way. But no, he chose to reprimand the staff within our hearing for the whole dinner (which didn't help the situation one bit and made the experience worse! . We felt sorry for the staff. Even with the hospitality shortage, that was a completely wrong way to help the staff improve, nor help retain them in the long run. I don't remember anything about the food, although photos did show a good range to choose from. At the end of the meal we each received a box of hello panda, which might have helped, if not for the fact they were expired. All in all, would not recommend."
