Beautiful restaurant with a bar and a cellar for shows. Good quiche.

Typically cozy Parisian rest in the heart of the marsh. warm atmosphere, very pleasant service, interesting dishes at an acceptable price. a try absolutely!!!

I love this warm place in Paris. Always a very good service, excellent French food (which did not increase their price with inflation unlike others), modest and friendly!

100% made home from the entrance to the dessert. a little simplistic, very tasteful but really old (creamed sauces) and desserts of granny cake). So in the whole pretty good and I repeat: really homemade. service a little slow.

A terribly old fashioned restaurant. We were looking forward but the food was really bad. Poor cuts of meat drowned in awful sauces. Also the whole restaurant was really dirty. If you are from a major city like London or New York you will be really disappointed. The only hope was the nice service but the whole experience was really poor

I think this restaurant is worth visiting simply because of the building’s history. It’s got character, which means the building is very old and the tables and chairs (and decorations) are a tad shabby. We chose from the set menu, and everything tasted good (but not great). Service was fine, and the prices were OK too. While I have no particular complaints about the restaurant, I think eating there once was enough.

Le Connetable has been a restaurant for 40 years and many other roles for the previous 500. We found the service, atmosphere, wine and food were great. We loved the fish terrine entrée and the three of us enjoyed the duck breast with figs for mains. The fixed price menu for 29 euros gave generous serves with tasty vegetables as sides. Deserts were beyond words, worth promising to go on a diet for. I must mention the music. From jazz with Ella Fitzgerald singing Col Porter ranging all the way to 70's and 80's pop. We enjoyed it so much we returned a second night.

Regular guest of the evening, I love this place for its atmosphere out of time. Quiet enough before 1:00. At 2 o'clock the bars around ferment and everyone find themselves at the Connétable for a last drink. The population is very heteroclite, artists, models, coffee boys and bartenders in the neighborhood at the end of services, wandering tourists, accustomed to the place,... In the evenings of 'affluence', you spend your time queued for the toilets under the stairs, or to order your beer, a glass of champagne or a shot at Joseph or Corine. But we take advantage of it to meet people the discussion is easy. Once served, go down to the cellar. Cold tobacco odour, some light spot in a dark roo...
