"I love Cookies! They use healthy and fresh ingredients to make wonderful meals that are perfect to eat on the slopes after skiing. Yesterday I had the Thai salad with chicken which was a delicious, light option. I loved it so much that I visited it again today and had the chicken burger without the bacon. The chicken was so succulent and not dry at all. The bread was also extremely delicious with a crunchy outside and soft inside. I also like that I can have hot drinks at cookies despite my lactose intolerance. They had a soy milk latte which was such a great way to warm up after skiing! Also the staff are very friendly and the service is very quick! The prices are also cheap for switzerland. My family also loved visiting Cookies. they had the nachos, steak sandwich, croque monsieur, hot dog with chips and chicken panini. They all loved what they chose and we can't wait to visit again. We would definitely recommend it."

A little expensive for what it is which I suppose is to be expected on the slopes. Service is always quick and friendly though so we stop regularly!

When hunger interrupts the skiing, head for the Little Cookies at Bretaye, generous portions of simple food well cooked and presented , and surprisingly, good value. Visualizza piatti

Back here in march to an empty resort. cookie became our regular lunch and snack stop as the food is hot, fresh and served with a smile. Also not too expensive considering it's half way up a mountain in Switzerland.

Probably the most conveniently positioned spot for a ski rendezvous. It would be difficult to ski Villars without passing it. All self service with a reasonably sensible ordering system. Good coffee but DIY hot chocolate. Can be quite crowded but a good opportunity to chat to strangers. We didn't try one as it was too soon after breakfast but the burgers looked immense.

We have been regulars of all the Cookie establishments founded by the late David Jewell who died last September after a shark attack in his native Australia. Apparently it has been decided to close the entities shortly and the community is hopeful there will be a successor as they have been a "go to" location for some years. Tony and his team in the main restaurant have real talent and potential.

"It was raining cats and dogs as we drove up to Les Posses from Bex in search of Chez Mantisi. The clouds hung low and the mountains remained invisible. The restaurant was perched high on a mountain top, and we were pleased to see a...large parking area. We walked through the door into the warm cheery welcome of a Bonjour! from the owner, as she led us to our table. For the rest of the evening we could hear her husband burst into loud song as he cooked in the kitchen. We were convinced a chef as happy as he was would present us with delicious food and we weren't wrong! We were celebrating a special occasion and although the stunning views played hide and seek with the clouds, we were happy to be snug and dry in the little restaurant cum hotel, all done up in dark wood and plush red furnishings. The menu was simple. I had a Gnocchi ai Gemelli from the list of the Chef's Recommendations and husband had Ravioles de Loup de Mer, Pesto rosso et Bisque de Homard. Unbelievably delicious. Portions were huge and I had to ask for a doggy bag to take home half the gnocchi. We shared a delectable, if unusual Tiramisu of generous proportions (it had kiwi fruit hiding in the bottom of the glass). DInner was of course washed down with a glass of vino rosso! The price was not the cheapest we have known, but the service was a delight and the evening memorable. As we braved the pouring rain to get back into the trusted chariot we decided we'd definitely be back on a day when the sky was bright blue instead of dark gray. My advice: worth making a special trip to this excellent restaurant"
