It was delicious the pastrami was warm and fell apart in my mouth the area is a little sketchy but that don't bother me when the food is good the lady who helped us was very kind and patient I will be back

Unorganized need a better ordering and pickup system. Cashier not friendly at all . The sandwich wasn't great like it use to be on south orange ave . Looking for a replacement, not worth the drive to a dangerous area .

I have gone to this establishment all my adult life and I was SO DISAPPOINTED with the quality of the pastrami sandwich I got yesterday. I understand the need to raise prices to keep up with current costs but I would think that these increases would allow Coopers to maintain the quality they WERE known for. The meat was terrible. It was just like Blimpie pastrami!!! Please do better.

Classic pastrami. Heavy on the fat!....I grew up eatting these sandwiches for years. Sad to say and see this black owned business in its condition. Not even the owner cares or he would not have made this sandwich in this way. This is a continuous thing. Today the sandwiches will be delicious. Tomorrow horrible and loaded with fat. I have finally reached my point to not return. Lost a loyal customer and im sure more will follow if things don't change. Disgusted.

Coopers is an iconic name and establishment in Newark. I found out about Coopers years ago when I would deliver produce to them and from first bite I was hooked! My favorite has always been the corned beef, swiss, cole slaw and Russian...but there isn 't anything bad at Coopers! Mr. Cooper was always a class act and I remember when he opened up the South Orange Avenue store and he said for $5.00 you can buy a sandwich, 6 pack and a pack of cigarettes I hope he 's doing well and his legacy lives on!
