"Shades of the late lamented Dean Deluca here! Finally, a proper, delicious deli where we can get real quality and unusual food to go in my favourite place. I practically cried with joy when I realised how good this little emporium was! On my first foray I bought a little cheese for home first rate. Then 3 weeks back a friend and I bought a selection of bread, cheese, olives and pastries to carry back to base as a lunch. The yuminess of our DIY picnic was superb and when comparing it to what we would have got (and spent) elsewhere in town for an average sit down lunch we actually chuckled. Last week, I took a group of my more discriminating relatives from afar, to pick up some of the famous toasted sandwiches with tea, buns and a bar of chocolate for a brunch. Oh.... my.... word! We felt like we were dining like kings. Blue skies, munching away on the banks of the Bush it didn 't get much better. Picture buttery, crunchy sourdough slices, cut generously thick and packed with hot oozing melted cheese. Flavour! They were accompanied by little pots of fresh pickled pear slices or fennel. Now THAT sweet and salty combo is genius ladies. I can see this place causing gridlock come summer. Yep it 's THAT good. If you 're a foodie this is the top place to visit on the north coast for my money. I feel I 've barely scratched the surface here and might have to return for more er research soon (so many cheeses so little time). Just delighted to have quality in such a beautiful spot. I wish we 'd taken photos but we were too busy scoffing the stuff!!! Ps Could I beg the girls to do a squeaky cheese with avocado and sweet chilli sauce too please? That would push it from 10 to 11/10!"

"The Ripoff Barn, The Giant's Barn* sorry, is a cafe which caters to many coach tours each day of the week and most if not all passengers of these coaches pay for something to have for lunch. The Giant's Barn's pricing is disgusting and terrible, £10.50 for curry! £10.50 for a sandwich and a small bowl of soup! Cheaper with a meal deal from Tesco, cheaper with two meal deals aswell! The toilet facilities at the Giant's Barn is terrible and the cleanliness and hygiene is bare minimum and unclean. No soap in any toilets, and the ladies toilets has 2 cubicles which results in a queue between 5 10 people outside in a squished corridor! The male's toilets have 1 cubicle, and 2 urinals which also are unclean, and have no soap and can result in a long queue! The Giant's Barn is not made for large tourist groups, it's made for people willing to pay rip off prices for small portions and disgusting toilet facilities. The Giant's Barn is a tourist trap which cannot be avoided until tour operators decide to go elsewhere in the area! Which may not happen anytime soon, therefore go and Rent a Car and drive to The Giants Causeway as by the time you'll of bought your food from the Giant's Barn you'll have been cheaper without the coach ticket and better renting a car from Belfast City! and that's saying something with fuel now a days LOL! If I can help tourists in any way it's recommending NOT to visit and to AVOID The Giant's Barn at all costs as not only will their bank account be burst, so will their hygiene standards due to no soap and lack of cleanliness all round. Lack of seating has been a big problem here at The Giant's Barn which can be easily sorted by buying new seating and fixing a broken chair outside which was left randomly outside looking untamed to the public's eye! The queues do go down quickly, either people leave the queue when they see the price or the staff are really good at clearing the queue! Nevertheless the staff are friendly, happy and was happy to listen when the soap problem was put to them, whether anything was done I'm unsure. However the Giant's Barn is a tourist trap and I'd highly recommend visiting here by all costs!"
