"I’ve been to Giovanni’s three times in the space of three days only because the Capricciosa Pizza was SO delicious, and I wanted to have it again!! On the third night I had the parmigiana di melanzane, and it was fabulous as well. My partner had the minestrone soup and spaghetti bolognese, and he was equally impressed. The food is really very good, and the service is impressive. Especially if you’re lucky enough to have Izzy as your waitress, you’re in luck! She will look after you and make sure that you have the most delightful dining experience. Whenever I return to Knutsford, I will ensure to eat here again!! "5 stars, the triumphant return of Chef Adrian Munt! We returned to The Bells this week with family, and we’re delighted with our experience. After a few months of The Bells not being up to its usual standard, our meal and experience on Thursday evening was brilliant. We shared the breads over drinks and then had the home made pies (both steak and ale, and cheese and onion) for mains, and they were absolutely stunning. It’s wonderful to have The Bells back on form! Long may it continue!"

"I can warmly recommend this great little esserei. it was the best price in knutsford, but there was no compromise on the quality of food, service or size of the portions. there were three in our party and we all had a two cursor, plus a drink and our bill was £36. the meals were accompanied by beautiful fresh salad and the desserts (home made) were a joy. the staff was nice and the service was fast. in contrast to many restaurants where the personal is overstretched, they had enough people to prepare the food to ensure a good service. all our meals were beautiful. can highly recommend and would visit again."

"A lovely village pub with great food and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy food and drinks in the summer. In the winter, the cosy and historic interior is just as welcoming and there's a fireplace to enjoy. We visited for Sunday lunch and as well as the traditional offerings there were well crafted more modern options. They had small versions of roast dinners available for the children as well as fish/sausage/scampi and chips. The adult portion fish (haddock) and chips was delicious buy could have done with a couple more chips. There are good walks through the fields nearby and there is cycle parking available. Parking on the road is limited and can get busy but was ok when we visited. They have a good selection of real ales on tap as well as Lucky Saint for a low/non-alcoholic option. Veggie and vegan options were quite limited and they didn't have plant milks available when we visited. Food: 5 Service: 5"

"I had pre-booked a table for six, including three babies. I was informed that three prams wouldn't fit, which was totally understandable, but I was assured there would be room for one pram and two high chairs. We made sure to bring travel prams that could fold small enough to fit in the cloakroom, and one of us even left their pram in the car. However, I was provided with a broken and unsafe high chair. When I requested a different one, a very rude staff member basically told me to deal with it. The pub was also uncomfortably hot and crowded, and we were seated right next to a fire. When we arrived, the fire was unlit, but a staff member came over to light it just behind one of the prams. I politely asked if he could leave it unlit since my baby was already feeling warm, but he ignored my request and went ahead anyway. The food, as always, was delicious, but out of the six of us, only four ordered the lamb dinner, which consisted of just one very lean lamb chop per person. The shared vegetable dishes for all six of us included only one small dish of greens, one small dish of cauliflower cheese, and one boat of gravy. Overall, I felt like we were being rushed and that our presence was more of an inconvenience. I'm genuinely disappointed because I used to highly recommend this place to my friends. After today, I’ll certainly think twice before returning. It's just not worth it, especially if you have children! Safety: Terrible Service: 1 Location: 1 "
