Cottons Rhum Shack - Menu

kitchen staff are very rude. eating was mediocre and does not taste like traditional Caribbean food. would not have been going back because eating is nothing special and the service is bad.

I recently visited this restaurant with a friend for their Tropical Bottomless Brunch and oh my goodness, the food was absolutely delicious, especially the Jerk Chicken Wings (definitely get those if you go, you won't be disappointed!!). Our server, Yasmin, was very lovely and attentive. You will definitely not be disappointed here. And a quick shout out to the rum punch, it was fantastic!

Cottons is exceptional! The restaurant's cleanliness and service were amazing. The food - oh, the food was exceptional! Without a doubt, the best Jamaican restaurant in London. I ordered the Jerk chicken with rice and peas and it was absolutely delicious. My partner had the meat platter and was impressed by the bold flavors and variety. From the plantain, to the salad, to the juicy meat - everything was delicious and authentic. I will definitely be returning.

I'm here last night for drinks. amazingly surprised how late I discovered it, but the hidden location in box park really has its own charm. they have great deals for drinks that won me. the staff is very welcome and builds on every case the relaxed atmosphere that provides rhum shack. great colorful decor and setting I also like the openness of the kitchen, was nice, in the position, a quick word to the chef fall while I sit there, I have to return sometime to give the food a shot.

Me and a guitarist were hired on Friday 14th of April to play an acoustic set downstairs at the cottons club. The management later told us that the person that was their event manager didn’t get approval to hire us, so they don’t plan on paying us, even though the mistakes of their employees are theirs to bear, not OURS. They now have stopped replying to our messages and emails and clearly don’t have any intention of paying for the job we did. Any establishment that treats people this way doesn’t deserve any recognition and should be BOYCOTTED, so please DON’T GO THERE! Plenty of better places to eat at in Shoreditch anyway.

I went for a casual dinner with some local friends while visiting London from the US. The food was fantastic, especially the ox tails. The drinks were also top-notch, and we tried a variety of options. Surprisingly, my favorite was the coconut mojito. The highlight of the evening was the exceptional service. The manager, Kevin, was a delightful host, engaging in lively conversations with our group and even getting the bartender involved at times. He curated a fitting old school playlist to enhance the relaxed atmosphere and kept the drinks flowing smoothly. I will definitely be returning to this place every time I visit London.

we originally drove to the queen of hoxton to make the best out of her dach, but even at eight o'clock the waiting snake was up one-in-out and the main bar area down was so huge hot that everyone was decidedly shiny. So we met and went to the boxpark instead. for those who do not know, boxpark was a temporary shopping center on bethnal green road from transport containers with rotating dwellers. proven to be popular, it is more of a durable feature and now has restaurants and bars on the first floor. we found ourselves at cottons rhum shack, who boasted for years in production and around. we had two cocktails of every strawberry diaquiri and a sista Nancy...read more

This will not be first time at Cottons, been to other branches where service and food was excellent. This one was very poor, we arrived without a booking and was told only seats outside were available which was fine as it was a lovely day. However, the tables were dirty, orders were wrong, kept bringing someone else's drinks order over and over again. Food came, no cutlery, waited a while then approched the manager inside who's reply was we do not set the tables outside. I get that but bring cutlery with the food then.... we were also made to pay first whilst placing our order because apparently people have done a runner from outside tables before.
