Crocodile - Menu

The staff are friendly and realised that my French knowledge was limited and so was my husband's. An English translated menu was given to us. A great meal followed and we were sure to visit again..not to be disappointed. Thoroughly recommend here.

I had dinner here. The starters are a buffet of meats, fish and salads - very nice. Main courses are from a menu - an English version is available. I had kangaroo steak, which is somewhere between beef and venison in flavour. Desserts are another buffet. Unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks.

Nice modern clean and fresh looking place. Menu available in English. Meal options ranging from two to three course fixed price including drinks so really convenient. Nice buffet starter, menu option main course and buffet desert. Drink options from beer, wine fruit juice to soft drinks and water all unlimited.

Excellent restaurant. Has many sitting areas one of which is inside train carriages ! Very clean and good service and polite staff even though almost no one speask english except the manager who was very helpful and fun and eager to help and take our order .Abit on the expeinsive side but well worth it . Definately choose this if you dont want to risk the unknown !!!

Used here several times and each time the food has been excellent and the service friendly and tolerant to Brits with limited French.Buffet starter and dessert offer great choice and several people opt for buffet as main course. Steaks cooked just as requested, unlike some other establishments were well done seems to mean it actually went under the grill ! Fine choice of drinks included with the meal, with alcohol an option. My only quibble is no vinegar except on the buffet !

This spectacularly designed restaurant is filled with exquisite food and quaint seating areas. One seating place is inside a train carriage on the side of the place. There are two mouthwatering buffets and a help yourself drinks buffet ( with unlimited alcohol). The first buffet is the main dish one with prawn spaghetti, snails, pate and many other things. The desert buffet includes a chocolate fountain, a stack of crepes, many mousses and a delightful collection of cakes. I really enjoyed eating here - especially a few hours before my ferry took me back to England.

We come over here following our hotel restaurant refusing to offer us a table as we were a large group. We spotted it after being at the buffalo grill the night before. They were happy to find us a table without fuss or a wait 13 of us in total all sat together. Really great concept of menu 3 levels of eat all you like buffet starters, deserts, drinks and a main meal. The mains are all cooked to order. The food was excellent I had the cod. The staff were very friendly and had a great sense of humour, we spoke very little French she spoke very little English lots of sign language. Wonder evening in the end of good food and environment.

All the Crocodiles appear to include an old SNCF dining car.Eat here if you can, its great funAs mentioned by others, large and varied starter buffet with various salmons, hams, cheeses and salads.Similarly varied dessert menu including ices and chocolate fountain.Main courses cooked to order and augmented by specials, in my case four different cuts of beef at supplements varying from 1.5 Euros to 3.95.A main course with unlimited drinks is 12.90, main and starter, 18.50, main and dessert, 17.50 and Gourmand,i.e. the lot at 20.90.Children 5.5.Friendly helpful staff, still find it difficult to believe you can drink as much as you like, wines beers or soft drinks.Cannot wait to take grandchild...

We called in at Crocodile after a booze cruise which took in the Auchan Superstore at the Commercial Centre next door.After reading good reports on TripAdvisor, we expected a decent meal from this novel Restaurant and were amazed by the extensive choices of buffet starters and sweets.Frankly, you could eat very well just skiping the main course which was pretty average ( we had the steak @ 1euro extra but more a translation of a cut of beef than a succulent piece of prime beef) with unspectacular fries a la McDonalds !
