"Despite a arrival on Friday noon, we are surprised by the queues one for the placement, another for the settlement), which will be absorbed as quickly as possible by super dynamic staff, always very kind and available despite a visibly very sustained pace, congratulations! An aperitif is offered to us as soon as we are placed, the meal will be served very quickly with regard to the workload. We are very satisfied with our dishes, proposal, cooking, flavor and correct presentation, for a reasonable cost: entry, dessert dish for 2 people 27€ memory). Only flats: a rather noisy area due to so many worlds and continuous movements of customers and personal. The height of the seats, all the more reduced by the various passages. Still, I found a team at the top! Available, organized, friendly, efficient, good quick kitchen. The quoted flats are not enough to scratch my satisfaction!"

"Excellent rapport qualité-prix ! En effet vous mangez pour moins de 9€ le midi et moins de 13€ le soir. Menu complet et cuisine maison svp. Des plats typiques à moins de 7€ à la carte et servis copieusement... La carte est très fournie, vous y trouverez votre bonheur. Les patrons sont très agréables et d une gentillesse rare. Le lieu est effectivement a rafraîchir mais ne va t on pas au restaurant pour bien manger ?? Tous les plats sont faits maison et rien n est préparé en avance. Le vin est bon , bref si vous voulez manger de bons plats asiatiques , allez y ! Rien à voir avec les usines à gaz qui vous demandent 15 € pour manger des plats industriels de chez métro à volonté."

"Found this place by accident in St Antonin. We don't like 'Les Formules'. Difficult to find somewhere in France that doesn't penalise you for not wanting an entrée or dessert.This little restaurant is unpretentious and serves food which is freshly cooked, non-gloopy and incredibly tasty.The menu is simple, and service exceptional. House wine is amazingly good. We had the Beef curry and the Chicken Korma. Both wonderful. They also do Steak and Fish and Chips.Wish we had found this place when we first arrived in St Antonin several days ago. Can't recommend it highly enough. Best meal of our holiday so far!"

"We try to visit somewhere new at least once a week - and always on a Wednesday as my son only has half day at school so he gets a treat lunch. He's five, so he gets to choose the venue. This week he chose Escale, mainly I think through laziness as he didnt want to walk any further. Anyway, it looks like a kebab shop and I guess thats basically what it is. Theres a few tables outside, all occupied by teenagers who are eating and politely chatting amongst themselves but we went indoors. On this occasion it was just the two of us. An English boy and his English mum, who have a little French but they heard us chatting and so we were greeted in English. William chose a burger and chips and I had tandoori chicken which came with salad, naan and fries. All was freshly cooked to order, the naan arrived first and was hot and delicious. The rest followed a few minutes later. The burger was a standard frozen patty. Nothing special about it but no complaints. The tandoori chicken was delicious. Tender and nicely spiced it also came with some dips which helped spice it up a notch (I like a lot of chilli!) We paid about 10 euros (slightly less) for the two meals and drinks (no licence - we had a jug of water and a coke for me)We will definitely be back. This isn't a typical Villefranche restaurant but there is nothing wrong with it. Certainly for the price it was excellent. Service was friendly and happy - just what you need."
