Damascus Bite - Menu

The staff were lovely and the food was delicious! The Islamic artwork of the restaurant was beautiful and inspiring. My daughter loved it!

Enjoyable halt on a crowded day in Brick lane. Simple joint but really good and tasty food. Gentleman attending very nice, got a few extras for free. Hungry kids delighted.

Enjoyed a gorgeous vegan platter in Damascus Bite yesterday. Beautifully presented food in a lovely surroundings with friendly and efficient service. Couldn't ask for more. :

I ordered kibbeh and hummus as starters. We loved the starters very tasty. Mains I ordered chicken shish and husband ordered lamb shawarma. The mains were beautiful very tasty and flavoursome the 2 dips are tasty too

I have driven past this place for years so was good to finally go in We opted for the mixed shawarma and a chicken doner mix One with chips the other with salad and rice Food arrived nice and fresh good sized portions Meat was nice Rice very good and lots of flavour Chili sauce could have been stronger Had a drink each Bill was 28.00 Would visit again

Our group of 6 called in here for a quick lunch after a busy morning sightseeing in London. We ordered a variety of wraps which were all very tasty. But that wasn’t the end of it we were treated to complimentary pickles, rice and finally the most delicious baclava type sweets ….and then some more of them to take away with us! Charming service, excellent value and highly recommended if you’re in the area.

This place has such a tasty and diverse Middle East menu that we choose it over and over again as our monthly hang out/ catch up place. We just love to gorge with their food and deserts...it helps that the prices are very reasonable. It's really difficult to find such price/ quality ratio in London... Owners are very nice and restaurant is clean. While I'm writing this, I'm drooling at the thought of a big lamb shawarma followed by some baklava...yummm!

I picked this spot for lunch, somewhat at random. There are a few tables for eating in, and I was alone and didn't need any fancy service. The host/waiter was friendly and accommodating. I had a wrap that was freshly made, different that I've seen elsewhere (in the US, anyway), and tasty. Chips were average. Nothing gourmet, but a nice mid-east ethnic menu with many things to select from. Not sure that this would be my first choice on another visit, but it served the purpose today. Another table with a bunch of kids was well-treated, so this might be a cheap option for a family.

We have eaten at Damascu bite many times over the years and it rarely ever lets us down. I prefer to eat in. Went yesterday lunch time and had a wonderful meal- kids always accommodated with their fussy eating! Too many places in east London now over promise and under deliver at inflated prices but Damascu Bite always serves fresh, tasty food which is always value for money. Staff are great and take care of customers. Ok it’s not fine dining but it doesn’t pretend to be- it’s authentic Middle Eastern food and as a family it’s keeps everyone happy. If you are in brick lane this is a great option and long may it last !
