I absolutely adored Darbar Indian Restaurant. The presentation of the food was amazing and the flavors just kept coming one after another in a delightful way. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try authentic Indian cuisine or other delicious main dishes. The staff was very friendly and the head chef, Mr. Kumar, with his 5 to 7 star cooking experience, truly excelled. At last. An authentic Indian experience in the UK and outside London!The food brought back all my happy eating experiences in India with favourites from there that I can rarely find in the UK. The Pani Puri were lovely, the Pav fabulous, and the Dhal Makhani dark, creamy and spicy. The lamb chops were wonderfully spiced too and just melted. The welcome was warm and the service friendly. Don’t be put off by the location. I hope this restaurant goes from strength to strength. Enjoy the Indian food adventure

The restaurant may not look impressive from the outside, but the food is really delicious with a nice home-cooked taste. The dishes were not too spicy, but they are willing to adjust the heat level upon request. The menu is limited and the seating area is a bit crowded. Despite this, every dish we tried was excellent, likely due to the focused menu. The portions were satisfying, although slightly smaller than other restaurants. The only disappointment was the poppadoms, but the dips served with them were tasty.

I finally found an authentic Indian dining experience in Britain outside of London! The food reminded me of all the delicious meals I enjoyed in India, featuring favorites that are hard to find in Britain. The pani puri was beautifully made, the pav was fantastic, and the dhal makhani was dark, creamy, and spicy. The lamb flakes were perfectly spiced and tender.
