Very poor meal and service for a group of five. Rubbery prawns and inconsistent portion sizes. Has the ownership changed?

food quality is so good also delicious. Moreover, their service is outstanding. Besides, environment is so quite and looking so beautiful

Ordered a takeaway for 8 people, all ordered different things, when it came nothing was written on any of the cartons to say what it was what apart from the three naan breads. It all looked the same and very watery and tasteless £148 waisted Visualizza piatti

Fabulous food, really tasty, just the right amount and very quick. It was a shame the server didn’t have any manners or people skills. A smile goes a long way. He literally put the food down on the table and didn’t serve it to the person who ordered it. Was a little strange.

Sadly, this place has gone downhill massively. Very expensive for what they served, portions small and not much meat in the curries, 4 different curries all pretty much the same, staff not so great either. Also, air conditioning not working. Unfortunately we couldn’t leave quick enough.

We decided to have a home delivery from The Darjeeling and phoned on Thursday Evening at 18:30. We ordered up a Tandoori Mixed Grill which comes with a Nambe Bread, and a Chicken Tikka Korma. We also had a Pilau Rice and a Bombay Aloo (Potato). The food was delivered promptly within 45 minutes and was absolutely piping hot. The quality of the food was simply superb and we both really enjoyed our meals. We would highly recommend as you can only speak as you find. Thank you for a terrific meal. Visualizza piatti

We ordered up a home delivery for three of us on Thurs 20 June. The order was taken promptly and efficiently over the phone as was payment. Within less than 45 minutes our absolutely superb piping hot food arrived. We all loved our meals and I especially enjoyed the Korai Tandoori King Prawn, Chicken Korma, Beef Ginger with two Pilau Rice, Onion Bhaji, Bombay Aloo, Sag Penner and a Peshwari Naan all were simply superb thank you for yet another brilliant meal. As you can imagine we had lots left over so lunch/dinner today is sorted

We got asked to move halfway through our meal which we were more than happy to do so, however, I asked for a free drink in compensation but i was told “we dont do this, this is a ridiculous ask”…I think it was a fairly reasonable ask for their lack of planning for their “busy” night ahead. I have been to many busy restaurants in my time and have never been asked to move before. We received our free drinks with reluctance but nonetheless, we got them, so thank you. The food itself was lovely, no complaints towards the food, but the lack of management towards the seating and arrangement of customers was low par.

Having not been here for a while I am very disappointed with the way they now run this very popular restaurant. The food was ok but the service was terrible. No attention paid to customers, staff very well trained in avoiding any form of eye contact. No attention to detail eg plate of popadooms blinked on table .. no plate , napkin or cutlery. Lady waitress in full eye vision with her back to the whole restaurant tables for the duration of the meal. Sorry but this place has become too complacent with no care to customers unless with a group of 10 or more guys just wanting beers and a place to let off steam. Sorry again this used to be a nice place for a good meal and good ambiance.. now only... Visualizza piatti
