Great taste and flavour. Me and my friends regularly eat out in Tooting as it has the best curry restaurants and this has to be the best of them. it's the second time we're coming. eating is authentic and very tasty. our waiter awais was extremely professional and friendly. he took care of us as good as it is always happy. we tried his recommendations and loved them (chama daal, king prawns karahi and chicken madras). Thank you for treating us so well!

The food is delicious and halal, as expected. The mixed grill is a tasty and budget-friendly option for sharing. The butter chicken was not impressive, but the lamb karahi was excellent. The service is lacking, but considering it is the most affordable Desi restaurant in Tooting, it's hard to be too critical.

I recently dined at Dawat for the first time and really enjoyed my meal of chicken biryani and vegetable curry. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was excellent. Plain rice has been served cold. We'd ordered chicken biryani with our other foods but it was served quite late as we've finished eating our rest of the food Apologies from the management and complementary rice pudding has been served on the house. Other foods like lamb karai, tandoori mixed grills,etc was very delicious. We'll recommend our friends and families to visit this restaurant.

A group of four people shared a 10-piece platter at this restaurant and enjoyed the nice ambiance and delicious food. The South Indian dishes were not very spicy, but still tasty. The curry and biryani were especially delicious. The non-vegetarian platter included chicken wings, lamb kebab, and two other lamb dishes, which was enough to satisfy all four diners. The rating is 4.5 stars, but Google only displays rounded integers.

popular Pakistani restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. this place is always full and it is likely because they serve inexpensive delicious Pakistani and Indian dishes. some dishes that we liked more and less, but overall the experience was very pleasant. they have an extensive list of grilled meat and everything was perfectly cooked. the naanbrot is baked before place (it could be flat brot, not naan) and the place is clean and very organized. they are used for large groups and this place is popular with families. it is not the high end of Pakistani cooking, it is more like what people would eat at home and that is good.
