Delicatezze - Piatti

Went for my wife's birthday. The meal was fabulous. Staff attentive. Will go again when in the area. Recommend the filet steak cooked to perfection.

We had to send all of our meals back as the food was dreadful, such a shame as we have loved this place in the past but it was just inedible. Won't be going back

This restaurant started off as Metz in the mid 90's and quickly became a favorite in the village. However, in its recent transformations as Eden and now Delicatezze, it has struggled to recapture its former success.

The food was served cold and I was disappointed with the first course (salmon in a red dressing of some sort). The main course was not up to par as the beef was very chewy and the pastry was not fully cooked. However, the dessert was great.

I can only say that was one of the worst meal I've ever had. there were 6 people who were each ordering a starter main course 7 of the twelve, either wrong or overcooked. the workers said they had a new cook and apologized. they did not charge us for eating that was wrong or overcooked and gave us another discount. none of the guests will ever return due to this very bad experience Visualizza piatti

The venue is pleasant and welcoming, our party of eight were welcomed and drinks arrived promptly. Sadly the orders were fouled up in some fashion, this caused confusion with the front of house staff, it would not be correct to point exact blame, but one colleagues meal had to be ordered three times and confirmed to achieve its arrival. This took such a period of time that the remaining colleagues had eaten and order further drinks. To save the colleagues awkwardness, and given the meal was over when the Ostrich steak arrived we thought it best the plate be simply boxed for an impromptu takeaway option. We have been to this restaurant 4/5 times in the last few years because of the good food and atmosphere. We invited friends to join us. We will never go there again. There was a strong smell of disinfectant and the food was absolutely appalling. The garlic bread was dry and left a strange aftertaste and the main courses were all lukewarm, the doughballs were hard, the pizza was undercooked , I had the 'Plank ' with meatballs it was 1 small meatball cut into about 6 pieces in a bowl of warm tinned tomatoes. We were disappointed with our experience at the restaurant during our midday reservation for twelve. Upon arrival, the place was empty and appeared quite dreary. The only staff member we encountered seemed surprised by our booking and mentioned he had been informed of it but did not expect us at noon. He also told us that they were having issues with their cook and could only offer pizzas and burgers. He didn't seem well himself. Overall, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming, so we politely decided to leave and found a lovely restaurant nearby.
