The card is not complicated, it's standard German food like schnitzel and asparagus was recommendation as the season is coming. I found The Lion through the journal Frankfurt geht aus the (annual) local print special with restaurant rankings. I have just been there the second time and the experience is the same. The restaurant is not too big at the first glance but has an...additional room upstairs and is at weekends often booked. In these cases it takes long until you get your food.
