"A lovely location and building. We sat in the conservatory to the rear of the building, which was light and airy with a good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Unfortunately, we don't speak French, but the waitress quickly found another member of staff who spoke English to help answer our questions and take the order. The service was excellent!unobtrusive whilst remaing attentive to our needs. The starter arrived and was very tasty. The main followed promptly. The lamb was lovely. However, the entrecote steak was full of gristle, and much was left uneaten. The beef was tasty and well cooked, but again, some was left due to a very blunt knife that was unable to cut through the meat. Two of us had knives that were too blunt to cut through the meat without considerable effort. The deserts were again delicious. Unfortunately, during most of our meal, we were persistently harassed by flies! This is something that appears to be almost the norm in this region, but not something any of us find acceptable in a restaurant. The price was reasonable given the service and lication at around €200 for 4 adults with a drink each."

"Sur la route des châteaux du Médoc nous avons déjeuné à la Boule d'Or de Moulis. Dans le jardin terrasse, à l'ombre des grands arbres, le menu à 14€, boisson comprise, comprenant une grillade de faux-filet dans la cheminée nous a tentés. Pour accompagner la viande (un peu trop mince) les frites étaient extra. En entrée, un petit pot de rillettes d'oie servi avec du pain bien frais et pour finir, le dessert du jour au choix, dommage, nous avons choisi la tarte maison aux framboises. Manifestement, le chef devrait changer de recette de pâte à tarte ou ne pas oublier d'allumer le four pour la cuire, mais les framboises étaient fraîches ! Pour un menu à 14€ boisson comprise, ne soyons pas trop gourmands, mais attention au détail qui tue, c'est dommage et si facile d'obtenir des louanges avec une bonne pâte à tarte même industrielle. Nous reviendrons pour voir !"

"dinner with friends on the evening of July. The access is poorly broken to access the covered terrace. the chairs are very hard and the sound atmosphere a little loud. The map of the entrances is tempting. those who chose tuna tataki are very satisfied, those who chose the foie gras a little disappointed. it is good without more while considering the status of a gastronomic restaurant we expected to better. Then a small incident, my order of a sole meunière was never left in the kitchen and the restaurant realized by serving my guests. making me the sole asked minutes, of course for my guests, I gave up. a very professional reaction, I am offered some saint rossini jacques that the boss will be a copy of the truffle and which were ready in less than seven minutes. very beautiful catch and thank you for your reactivity. veal ris dishes and the holy jacques are really good but we come out with an impression of ancient gastronomy with some too heavy sauces. the young man who made the essentials of the service of our table was really too relaxed compared to the standing of the establishment."

We eat very well. the dishes are thoughtful and original, and the dressage is well-kept. the unique menu ( dessert flat entry) allows you to try new things without losing on an endless map to find what makes us want. the room does not allow to accommodate a lot of covers. it is best to book."
