we are on holiday for the week and decided to visit this pub tonight instead of the most important high street pubs. we are glad we made it! it is a beautiful, friendly local pub. eating is all freshly cooked and absolutely beautiful. my partner... steak cooked to perfection and I had sampi that was beautiful. both served with homemade chips and all circumcisions. perfect. we would visit here for delicious food and recommend a nice evening.

we decided to come here after some research and were not disappointed! the cook here knows how to cook meat for perfection. we had lamb and bark in our appetizers/goods and everything was wonderfully cooked, very delicately sized portions are decent, reasonable prices...and very friendly staff. the pub could do aesthetically with the update (carpets/furnished, etc.) it looks a bit down in some areas, but would come back 100%. I wish we had a little bit closer to home!

We came here late on Friday evening after finishing work and travelling up. We were very thankful they were still serving and they were so accomodating. The restaurant was separate to the pub which made for a nice dining atmosphere and it was well laid...out and really clean- especially good for the current covid climate. The menu had a great selection of foods, both for adults and children. Very accomodating as we're were those awkward people who asked to tweak things and asked for an extra side that wasn't on the menu.
