"Returning from a trip abroad we really wanted a nice plate of pasta. This restaurant is a few minutes drive from Venice airport and ALSO includes typical Sardinian dishes on its menu (which is what attracted me). The Sardinian mixed starter for €10 was not memorable. Salami, pecorino, smoked ricotta, pecorino cream, olives, 2 homemade dried tomatoes and artichokes in oil. I recommend getting straight to the point and aiming for the main dishes. We took 2 first courses with typical Sardinian pasta shapes: lados (like orecchiette but not hollow, they are flat) and maccarones de busa (they remind me of a mix between pici and bucatini), both seasoned with wild boar ragù (and cheese) . Good good and plentiful. To conclude we shared a seadas, €4.50: it is a non sweet fried dessert fried well filled with cheese melting! and drizzled on the top with honey. Good for people like me who love cheese but since it's the 1st seadas of my life I have no terms of comparison. Special mention for the waiter who followed us, friendly, prepared and attentive, and for the very kind waitress. You don't find two people like that in the room everywhere. Our lunch was pleasant also thanks to them. The only flaw: long wait between starter and first courses. Food drinks: Sardinian dishes absolutely worth trying! Piglet on reservation. Excellent value for money."
