great square to sit outside which some of the other hotels did not have. breakfast was tasty and typical european style. and nice and quite.

When in Mürren in the warmer months you really should dine on the terrace for great food and world class views!! The staff were fantastic also!!!

On our way down from Schilthorn, we stopped to walk through the village of Murren. The Hotel Edleweiss, with its largely outdoor restaurant, is located on the main street. The apple struedel was delicious!

Slow and rude service. Food was not fresh. Schnitzel swimming in oil. Salad swimming in fatty french sauce. Have I already mentioned the rude service! Oh I did. And I will say again and again and never come back.

This is a great lunch spot in Murren- the classy terrace is the place to be with fabulous mountain views. We loved the woodfired pizzas. George, our server, was the best we had on our entire Swiss trip... so charming and funny. Highly recommended.

Wir waren über Auffahrt in einem der neuen Premiumzimmer, die wir sehr empfehlen können: grosszügig, modern, schöne Materialien und eine grandiose Aussicht. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter lässt sich im Zimmer gemütlich verweilen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück sowie Halbpension gut und reichlich.

Zentral, gemütliches Ambiente, gutes Essen und netter Hotelier. Das Hotel Edelweiss liegt in 5min zu Fuß vom Bahnhof Mürren entfernt und lässt somit vom Bahnhof Mürren bequem erreichen. Das Hotel macht einen modernen, gemütlichen Eindruck: Zimmer, Restaurant, Kaminzimmer laden zum Verweilen ein. Zu der Schilthornbahn läuft man 10 min. Leider hat das Hotel keine Sauna, etc., aber es lässt sich so auch sehr angenehm hier wohnen. Ich würde wieder kommen!

This place has a lovely patio to sit and view the scenery. However beautiful the view, the food and service need attention. I had the local meat and cheese tray. One of the sausages was so hard that I had trouble biting through it and chewing it. A piece of my cheese looked as if someone had taken a bite out of it. Needless to say, I didn’t eat it. The service was TERRIBLE. When I say terrible, I mean terrible. The waitress took our order while someone else brought the food. We didn’t see our waitress again until we had to TRACK her down for our bill. Even when asked how our meal was, and we notified the cashier of the lack of waitstaff, they said nothing. Find somewhere else to eat. Anywher...

We ate here our first night in Mürren because it was the only place that had open reservations. That should have been a red flag. We ordered a hamburger and the beef fillet. The hamburger was very obviously frozen and likely pre-cooked to well-done temperature so they were not made to order. We ordered the fillet medium and it came out very very rare, it was inedible. I am not the type to send my food back, especially in a foreign country, but I had to. The fillet had sauce on it and it was very clear that when they took it back it was just microwaved, but at least it was edible after that.
