one of the best restaurants I've been lately. excellent eating, very friendly and family atmosphere. the häuptling is an artist in the culinary area! fairer price. my friend and I liked the place so much that we go there two days later. highly recommended. go there with enough time.

Wir waren begeistert!Die Spargelsuppe mit Zitronengras und Rotgarnele war sensationell.Mein Mann hatte die Rehkeule diese war auf den Punkt gegart als Beilage 2 Semmelknödel und Apfelblaukraut und ich die Hirschschnitzel mit ebenfalls 2 Knödel und Schwammerlsoße, seeehr lecker!Die Portionen waren reichlich.Wir planen schon den nächsten Aufenthalt.

The small, family-owned restaurant is located just a min drive from the bottom station of famous Brauneck Bahn cableway, and well worth the drive: freshly cooked food, served by a very lovely couple who definitely knows its way around regional dishes and where to...source the best ingredients for them. Do try the seasonal game or pumpkin cuisine, the great wines and spirits they serve. Come very early or do make a reservation (couple of hours in advance will might be ok), they have only a few tables.

we found this restaurant on tripadvisor and decided to try it. great choice! we had the most delicious carving and potato salad. it was excellent and made clear with care. there we have little extras that made this restaurant to appreciate us. as customers. the lady that belongs to the restaurant served us. the most friendly service. super happy with our choice. (we have tried two more restaurants in lenggries that were not good this will be our visit in this area now. fresh and homemade and delicious, with friendly service excellent. and also good value. Wir waren mit 11 Personen, davon 5 Kindern, abends zum Essen in diesem kleinen und gemütlichen Lokal! Sehr aufmerksamer, zuvorkommender und freundlicher Service! Der Chef kocht und die Chefin kümmert sich um die Gäste. Alle Gerichte toll angerichtet und was das Wichtigste ist, super super lecker! Ganz egal ob Wiener Schnitzel oder Backhendl für die Kinder oder Reh-/Hirschgulasch, Spinatknödel und Rückensteak vom Ibericoschwein für die "Alten"! Mega Produktqualität und gekonnt mit Rafinesse zubereitet! Uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung!!! Am besten vorher reservieren!

Meine liebe Frau und ich haben es endlich geschafft das Restaurant aufzusuchen. Wir hatten vorher angerufen was auch sehr gut gewesen ist da dad Restaurant eher klein ist.Wir haben dann extrem raffiniert zubereitet Vorspeise gewählt Ziegenkäse mit Kernpanade und Salat.Danach hatten wir Hirschhaxerl an Pfifferlingrisotto und Meine Frau hatte Hirschfilet mit exquisiten Beilagen. in our last night we finally managed to get into this hidden gem. this wonderful place is guided by this beautiful couple. chef eireiner specializes in fresh game and his wife leads the cozy restaurant. it has the right size to manage it itself. they give them the feeling, they are guests of the house and not in a restaurant. everything is ready to order with fresh ingredients, so they should think of it as evening out. and do not forget the desert! Actually nobody wanted to whisper first, because we were all pleasantly full of the main course. but sonja was teasing that you would be so good with dessert as he was with poisoning. her whole face glowed very proudly when she belonged to all mm...
