"we stumbled on this place on the way to climb the hill on isla de san anton in getaria. what a sound! Although the employees don't speak much English, they took great pain to make sure we understood the menu. we chose their special salate. with anchovy to share with a whistle for me and to chew for my man. all these dishes were substantially and beautifully cooked with bread, the house wine and water. I could not resist ordering a dessert and passed a dark chocolate pudding with ice. this was baked to perfection with the center full oozing molten chocolate. we were very happy and willing to go the hill behind the restaurant to help our digestion! would definitely recommend this place right in front of the beaten stretch and very cheap. a good sign was the number of locals eating there."

we stumbled after walking in zumaia to getaria. all other restaurants were full, so we went to the end and came here. Happy! my man does not like seafood, but used the word amazing to describe the ensalada...especial and my hake was fantastic and a generous drank. we had a bottle of wine and filled everything with dessert. everything was fabulous. they do not speak English and the menu is not a perfect translation, but honestly they cannot go wrong. note that some of the dishes are to be shared.
