"Looking for halal food near Champs-Élysées, we bumped into L'Etoile Marocaine. Initial impression was of a cramped space, smoke filled dining hall and a well laid out Mediterranian Arabic interior. We learnt that they have cooking facility in the basement and perhaps due to improper ventilation the smoke was entering the dining room. This, though carrying the aroma of delicious food, was not really desireable. Despite repeated requests, it took them ages to take our order. Initially there was only one attendant who was serving as well as taking the orders. Then he was joined by a second guy but it still took around 15 minutes for taking the order and then another 25 minutes in food preparation. We ordered couscous with skewed lamb, lamb tagine with almond/resins and lemon. Food was well cooked, tasty and well served. Both the tagines were very nice and it was one of the better made couscous that I had eaten in quite some time. However, the idea of cooking in the basement with improper ventilation isn't really something that we would support. We usually try to avoid places that have cooking in the basement as it is hard to keep it hygenic. It will cost you € 30 to 40 per person, depending on order. This is not cheap but keeping in mind the location, its not bad. I think they really need to improve the quality of service and the frequent smoke coming out of the basement."

Very busy and it took a while for everything to arrive but when it did we were happy. Rather a cramped seating arrangement but the staff were very polite and friendly.

The map is close to what you can eat at the maroc. The dishes are very good. The welcome is very good. service attentuf and discreet. special mention for Eastern coffee.

Came for a lunch with colleagues and enjoyed a delicious royal couscous, generous and full of flavor. The staff is very kind and attentive and the place is warm and very clean. We will come back. THANKS.

Bella serata con i sapori del Marocco.Locale trovato casulamente e ne è valsa la pena. Certo i prezzi sono lontani dai ristoranti di Marrakech, ma i sapori di una tagines di pollo con limoni e olive o di un couscous royal sono davvero eccellenti.Locale pulitissimo e servizio molto buono.Da consigliare sicuramente.

I've visited Morocco and have had some wonderful dishes and my experience with eating traditional Moroccan food outside of the country has been hit or miss. This is a small, but cozy restaurant with beautiful traditional Moroccan carvings and art throughout the room. The staff was friendly and helpful and I found the service to be solid. The group of 4 of us ordered several different tagines including Lamb, Chicken and a vegetable cous cous. I was looking forward to the Pastilla, but they only had pigeon pastilla and this isn't something I was game (no pun intended) to try. I felt that overall the meal was a little bland and each of us was quite disappointed that we didn't leave feeling sati...
