"Hello, I may be the first British reviewer, but I sincerely hope I'm not the last otherwise so many will miss out on what is a very good restaurant!! I've been twice now and rate it as some of the best food I've eaten anywhere. It looks nothing special from the outside, and the fact that you walk around the rear of the building to gain access to the restaurant is a little strange, but once you step foot inside all is revealed. A beautifully designed restaurant with high quality furnishings mixing new and old design, it's not cramped and has two floors. The staff are knowledgeable, with the head waiter able to explain all dishes in English too....he even went to get some seaweed from the Kitchen to show how the pink sea mousse was made!! The portions are perfect, being not too much but just enough as the quality of the food takes over quantity. The taste combinations were good and I've sampled things I hadn't previously tasted. Hopefully visit it again sometime, certainly worth the 30 minute trip out from Nantes!!"

"Hello, I don't recommend this restaurant at all We go for the first time, very disappointed No menu in book, just a choice of map on slate that are not varied ox lamb fish calf, good I don't like it's no child menu I ask if it would have ham or anything, neck we didn't take the pizza card, I took the campagnarde I eat almost Heurk, I can't imagine the scandal. My spouse took her a sea pizza pizza was cold salmon lukewarm, fat tomatoes just lay on it. We didn't take a gold orangina and diabolo straw to drink during the meal we had to ask for it because she didn't serve it fine the waitress the air overflowed! Well, the boss made a move to offer us a second cup of champagne and apologize for my failure to remove my squirrel from the fly I would have offered pizza or half. Moreover the clientele that the restaurant receives leaves to desired very noisy people soon drunk at the table and who believe themselves alone in the rooms did not enjoy if you search for your tranquility it did not have the right place or went. Quality price I also find his dear I hope not to disappoint certain person who wishes to go there for us we will not return there anymore. Good evening"

"When we arrived we booked for 10 and finally we are only 8 and the remark was decidedly it is the day, you could have called us to warn.. , well it starts well, hello the welcome and so much is by the boss. At the time of the order we are told that some things are no longer available, no more cod, no more dauphinois gratin, no more Tatin pie, no more Pavlova... We are served and we are obliged to claim from the server because it lacks the ham of Vendée for those who have chosen gourmet Salad. The sauerkrauts were not very hot for us because it's not as good. Positive the service, a good point to our server! It's still a good address, but we're still disappointed with the level of delivery last year. We're expecting more at this rate level, maybe better."

"My wife and I agree: Poorly cooked, poorly presented food. We left as soon as we could without finishing our plates. The risotto was gloopy mush. The sliced zucchini and Auvergne were the same. The fish served on them was totally over cooked. The pieces of scallop were identifiable only from their color and shape. I questioned the dish presented as my escargot crumble casserole starter because there were no escargots visible in it after the first forkful. The waitress recommended looking harder underneath. Before dinner drinks should have served as a warning. The waiter said he visited Munich several times when his sister lived there, after proposing a Warsteiner wheat beer on tap which I questioned. Warsteiner wheat beer? The branded beer glass he brought to show had “König Ludwig” and “Munich” printed on it. A well-known wheat beer if you’ve been to Munich. So not from Warsteiner. So I asked for the other tap beer offering, an Australian IPA. Australian IPA on tap? The waiter explained Australian tap connection systems are incompatible with those in Europe. A local brewery brings in a brewer from Australia for 2 months. He brews the beer in France. It is really French beer; “Australian style IPA made in France”. The small dining rooms have hard floors, walls and ceilings with the tables close to each other. It became uncomfortablely loud. The roofed patio is open to the inside dining areas, allowing cigarette smoke to pollute the inside. An interesting waterside location next to an old bridge wasted. Go elsewhere."
