Extra Fish - Menu

Great traditional Fish Chips as it should be! Definitely worth a visit, great value and great friendly service to go with it.

The food quality has slipped over the last few months. Now just greasy and nasty. My vegetable spring roll was mainly cabbage or onions, I counted 3 peas and 4 strands of carrot! Shame as was a good place

So disappointed ordered large chips, fish peas and curry sauce, got small chips, no peas and meal was really cold. Girl could not understand English and do slow. Usually have a really lovely meal. Put me right off. Not enough so I had a slice of toast, waste of money

We use to always use this fish and chip shop because it served gluten free fish and chips, sadly it. s gone down hill. it no longer offers battered fish and the last time they did I was poorly so it as put me off. The cheesy chips however are ok, so I would go for this but def not for a main meal as I cant risk it anymore. on a positive note the staff are generally very friendly.

We had the best chippy chips ever at this restaurant - they were incredibly crispy and delicious. The kebab meat was topped with plenty of fresh salad and sauce, making for a tasty and satisfying meal. My companion ordered the pork Gyros, and the tzatziki was wonderfully creamy and fresh. The portions were generous and the service was friendly. We highly recommend this place, it's just a shame we don't live closer to Rugby!

Been here a few times over the past year, the food is pretty decent. Lots to choose from. The use of PPE during COVID has been appalling though. When I went in yesterday there were about 8 staff behind the counter only two wearing masks! And of those two only one was wearing it properly. For them to be ignoring health and safety in tier 3, and in one of the most BAME areas in Rugby is shocking and shows a complete disregard for public health and the safety of their customers and fellow staff.

I only ordered the fish, but the variety of choices available was impressive. The portion I received was one of the best I've had, with a light breading that was just right (other places often have breading that is too thick and tough for my liking). The fish itself was fantastic as well. This restaurant is mostly geared towards take-out, but there are a few seats available at the window bar for those who prefer to dine in. I definitely plan on coming back here every time I'm in the area in the future.

We placed an online order for collection via Extra Fish Bars own website and stated the time we wanted to collect. When I arrived to collect, I found that our order was not ready. The lady serving kept preparing one item at a time (it was an order for 4 people). This took ten minutes, meaning that the first item prepared (my meal) was pretty cold. I was disgusted to then discover that the price of online orders is about 30% MORE than the prices on display. This is for the same food, that’s taken the same amount of time to get as if I had just turned up in the queue. We were very disappointed with our recent experience at this restaurant. It used to be our go-to place for takeout, as we don't typically eat fast food. However, our last visit about 3 months ago was not up to par. We decided to give it another try tonight. The chips were good, the fish was tasty but a bit greasy, and the mushy peas were okay. Unfortunately, the curry sauce was terrible and nothing like what we had enjoyed before. The staff seemed disinterested, as we had to ask twice for a pickled onion that was eventually left out of our order.
