Accueil chaleureux en famille face au mont blanc d excellents burgers certains made in Moby Dick comme "le skieur "sauce cèpes "l étoile "au st marcellin ... Une adresse à conseiller une super équipe. Pour nous fini les vacances alors à l an prochain . !☀️⛷

The restaurant is in the old chalet with very cosy environment, it is the best view of Mont Blanc, the service is warmly and comfortable, the material of food is very good quality and fresh, the food has good taste especially the stake, it is one of the best stake which I have ever had.

The terrasse has a spectacular view of the Mont Blanc chain, but the service and food are unfortunately far from spectacular. Cold plate of 5 pieces of vegetables, one of them uncooked, for 22 Euros was a disappointment. The rest of the food was average at best, and the service was painfully slow.

Went for lunch and we only got a burger menu, we did see other tables have salad however we did not get the same menu. Would have been nice to see the entire menu. Burger was great i must say and home made ! Did not expect this from a mountain restaurant ! Lady that served was great ! Kids menu was 10 Euro however not on menu. Burger and chips.

Service was appalling, probably as restaurant just reopened with a largely new team. We used to love this place with its buffet lunch. Unfortunately a new concept and the crew wasn't ready to deliver yet. Upon complaining the patron did the honorable thing by offering us our lunch on the house. Appreciate this gesture and we'll soon try again !

We used to absolutely love Face au Mont Blanc - a very generous buffet of starters and desserts all freshly made and you could help yourself to as much as you wanted. Unfortunately there is now new management who have removed all this. The main courses were not up to scratch (cold lamb cocotte, a tiny spoonful of mash) and the dessert buffet that remains you are escorted up to by a waitress who ensures that it is written down exactly how many pieces you have. Not an Isle Flotant in sight. Gone is the generosity! Such a shame.

We had a large party booked in for lunch and chose this so the non skiers could join us. We arrived a bit early so started with a hot chocolate (which was one of the best I've had) then had drinks outside before coming back into the very traditional (in a good way) dining room for typical Savoyard fayre - tartiflette, cheese boxes, cold meats etc. The lady who looked after us could not have been nicer - she even stood on a chair to get a picture of our whole party for us. Sadly they don't currently do a veggie tartiflette but that's my only criticism.

This is the only place we had poor service in our 10 day stay in Megeve. One Monday morning in January at about 1045 we sat on their large terrasse. There were just another 4 people there and very few skiers on the mountain. Within 10 minutes, we were told we had to order something or leave. This very short sighted approach made our decision for us that we would eat lunch elsewhere. The menu was interesting and up market. The smallest item was the most expensive soup we have seen in the mountain restaurants in Megeve (19 euros). This is certainly a place to avoid unless you plan not to ski after eating here.

We read this was under new management but decided to take our chances, since we enjoyed dining on the terrace on sunny days in past seasons.We arrived early without a reservation but they found us a table (best to reserve if you want to sit outside on a sunny afternoon). Service was a bit slow to get going but they were trying really hard. I think some of the staff are same as previous seasons but there seemed to be lots of discussions about who was doing what! No matter, we were enjoying New Year's Day drinks in the sunshine.The buffet lunch spread has gone but there is still a dessert buffet option.
