We stayed on site (glamping) for our 32nd wedding anniversary, and ate in the restaurant in the evening whilst there. We had a lovely meal. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and welcoming and the views from the restaurant lovely. Couldn’t fault the food...

We went today as a family (baby, parents, auntie and grandparents). We had the roast dinners. The beef was rare, and I didn’t mention it to the waitresses, but they were so attentive, they realised and cooked my beef for longer. All the staff were amazingly good, for which we are grateful. The food was tasty and we would recommend it. Thank you to all the staff.

The restaurant has a beautiful terrace with a great view, and the price for a three-course meal seemed reasonable at first. We enjoyed a glass of champagne on the terrace and our starters, asparagus and pate, were good. However, the quality of the meal declined after that. We both ordered steaks, which were cooked fine, but the accompanying side dishes were disappointing.

they have worked for the number of expected diners. the service was very slow. the front of the house staff worked hard, simply not very effective. we arrived at 19:00 clock and at 21:30 clock for a 3 cursor. that was a pity when it arrived, very good. the breakfast was also slow, an hour to get hot food. again this was a pity, as they had some interesting non-standard hot options. We were staying weekend in holiday cottage in the grounds which was lovely. Unfortunately low point was Sunday roast in restaurant, having eaten here before we expected a good meal. Firstly the veggie option was below par literally a piece of sweet potato in puff pastry which didn’t seem to have any seasoning or other ingredients. The meat was served first to others on the table but a long wait before accompanying vegetables arrived which meant several people had cold meat. Other than that the service was satisfactory just a shame it was let down by issues that could be easily addressed

We came back in October 2023 for a small family gathering and had the roast, which was shockingly horrendous and we were refunded. After hearing so many positive comments from friends and family recently, we decided to attempt the roast again… and I am so glad we did! We had the roast ham and roast beef, both meats were cooked to perfection. Roast potatoes and vegetables were plentiful and we loved how they were served in sharing bowls. The Yorkshire puddings were delicious and the broccoli cheese was just divine! On this occasion we were too full for a dessert. 5 stars to the chef! It was delicious and restored our faith in returning!

we were 2 nights in leeds castle and we had 2 dinners in the restaurant castle view. the evening menu is fantastic and we decided to try a lot of dressed during the 2 evening meals to taste so many dishes. on the first night we chose the venison croquettes and the goat cheese as appetizers. the croquettes were full of arome and the goat cheese was tart like a mousse and it was beautiful. for the main course we had the beef and both were cooked to perfection, even if one was rare and the other was medium and we really enjoyed it. to dessert we had an apple-tin and an orange chocolate mousse. both were very tasty and a beautiful end of our first meal. for our second dinner we had the crowning...
