Dreadful recent takeaway, chicken balls tasted like defrosted chicken pumped with water. Just awful

Absolutely awful. Bleached white chop suey with few vegetables, soggy fried rice with no peas or egg and pineapple that tasyed of nothing at all

Really not good quality. Chicken chow mien oily and chicken was slimy. Ribs weren’t great either. Curry sauce was nice but sadly this is first and last time for us. Only tried this as normal Chinese closed on a Monday will wait a day next time

So I got chicken balls and they have give me food poisoning trust me when I say don’t eat at this Chinese go to the one in maypole they have never give me chicken what is of how can I give ur customers off chicken it’s ur job 2 make sure they are cooked

I was just driving past and saw the Chinese, I only ordered sweet and sour chicken balls and a chicken chow mein. The chicken balls were average, but the chicken chow mein was like it had been microwaved from frozen. Below basic in quality. Ever since the restaurant changed ownership, Fans House has not been up to par. We ordered two special chow meins, special rice, and ribs, along with chips and chicken balls. Unfortunately, most of the food was cold, likely because it was in cardboard trays. The chow mein was lacking sauce and, despite the generous portions, it was uneatable. We definitely will not be returning to Fans House; it was a complete waste of £43.

Firstly, the online menu has different prices which is misleading. The food was not good quality, crispy duck not crispy at all and with soggy skin on, the wraps were all stuck together and became tough as soon as unpacked, so I presume they were overcooked in microwave, the battered chicken was uncooked in the middle and the egg fried rice had no flavour whatsoever and beef from black bean sauce was very chewy and lumpy and not nice to eat at all, presumably undercooked as well. Really dissatisfied, would never order from there again unfortunately.

I used to be a regular customer at Fans House but I have noticed a significant drop in the quality of food over the past year. I decided to order my usual chicken fried rice and try the Lemon Chicken for the first time. When I asked about the Lemon Chicken, they simply described it as "fried chicken with lemon," but I expected a dish with a light lemon sauce and some seasoning. Unfortunately, the dish was drenched in sauce, making the batter soggy and the chicken chewy. I was not impressed with the dish so I did not even bother to take a picture before throwing it away.
