Nice place to stop. Lovely grounds. We were going to order some lunch, but we were told Sundays had very limited food. Shame. Coffees were small for the price we paid only just warm. Wonderful Cafe with fresh, tasty food and really lovely coffee. Another big plus is that it's dog friendly which still amazes this American living in the UK. 10/10 definitely recommend. Vegetarian options: Many items on menu could be special made for dietary requests. Kid-friendliness: Many families with kids were there when I was. Wheelchair accessibility: Well marked access. You know you’ve had something special when you’re still thinking about it a week later! We popped in for some coffee and cake last Friday. We both had the carrot cake. Initially I thought the frosting to cake ratio was a bit stingy, but it was perfect. The cake was moist and well spiced with just the right amount of cream cheese frosting. It seems you have to book a few days in advance to be able to eat here, after failing multiple times because they are unable to accommodate walk-ins even though half the tables are empty. When I did eventually eat here, the food itself is pretty good and more interesting than your usual cafe fare, albeit a bit pricey. Absolutely LOVE this beautiful cafe. Soo well decorated and stylish. Certain times of the year you can walk through sunflower fields and pick your sunflowers. The owner lady was a sweet delight. The food is wonderful every time we’ve been to visit. The staff are very professional and can’t do enough for you. One guy in particular, Will, I think his name is, served our table and I felt like I was in a Michelin starred restaurant. Just perfect in every way!

We were looking forward to visiting Farm and Field Café after after one of us had been after a park run back in October 2024 and had a great experience. We arrived having made an online booking to be told our reservation wasn 't on the system, so showed our confirmation and waited for a 'walk in ' table and were placed out of the way on a table for 6. The café didn 't seem overly busy at the time of day we visited, so didn 't anticipate long wait times. After ordering at the counter (with no receipt given), we waited for over 20 minutes before receiving two coffees, and over 50 minutes for our first food order to arrive, with the second served separately about 5 minutes later and was the wro...
