"We took the long, windswept walk up through the rolling dunes to the Seekrug to see what all the rave reviews were about, and we weren't disappointed. Up a flight of stairs (bit of an accessibility issue but we along with several others left our stroller downstairs, confident that it would still be there upon our return...) is an expansive, tastefully decorated dining room with an absolutely glorious view of the beach far below. Anticipating this, we had called ahead and secured a table at the window. Service was attentive and professional and at least one server broke out his English for me which was very kind. All the food here seamed to be locally sourced right down to the Tide beer (which was delicious). The meal was attractively presented and very satisfying. I would describe the food offerings as upscale, country fare. We would have stayed for what looked like some very tempting desserts, but the place was filling up fast and our child was done with sitting silently. Maybe next time! Once again, I cannot over emphasize the beauty of this view. Definitely reserve WAY ahead and ask for a window seat and enjoy the sunset with a glass off the expertly chosen wine-list. Cheers!"

"Everything went a bit fast, but we were completely satisfied at the end. You order in the vault, get a pager and his beer to see a bit on Barkhausenstraße. Until the food is ready, you will find a place inside. The burgers, here a hamburger and a cheeseburger, tasted excellent, not only on the perfect garden Patty, but also used on bagels, tomatoes, cucumbers, salads and above all on the dressing. "We were eating there today following the many good recommendations. In the very nice maritim-decorated place at the port of Langeoogs we could get a table inside. There was a lot of going on. We ordered chocolate with crabs and potatoes with salad. The small supplement salad we could compile ourselves the selection was quite small and little green: yellow beans, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers etc., but nothing that would have surpassed standard quality of freshness and taste. The plaice was well fried, it was easy to get rid of the burrs, but the panade was not crispy. Spices was almost not at all, we had to desalinate properly. The pale looking salt potatoes were laid on the plate with a branch of parsley, but tasted very well with the melted butter and additional salt. Both food and beverages were brought to the table very quickly, the services were quite nice despite the hectic to be felt. All in all, we did not find the price performance ratio of the food appropriate and we would not want to eat any more chocolate for our regret there. I"

"the caffe is further on the descending ast, whether it has already reached the low point, remains to wait. I have already had to meet this in 2012. but it has not become better in the meantime, but worse. I ordered the so-called island breakfast for 10.40 €. came a baked bun, a disc black bread from the day before, the cheap disc salami and gouda from a cheap discounter, a little jam from the glass and a little fresh cheese, there was a glass orange nectar that was declared as orange juice on the card (a freshly pressed one gets only when ordered separately. the only thing that was quite normal quality requirements was the cappuccino. was a very unbeautiful experience."

"No problem reservation online, with quick reposs. Friendly service. Very good and well seasoned fish soup. The kiln-cablejau was a tick too dry, but the sauce and the supplements did all well And the two hours time windows are enough by the fleet of operation. Interior is modern, tastefully decorated (wood floor and gentle wooden tables.. the music could be somewhat quieter. Overall, a rich 4th on the next trip on this island I will be happy to come back."
