"Lovely food and atmosphere. Went here for lunch on the eat out to help out deal. I had the swordfish (waiter's recommendation) it was lovely. The veg and sauce tasted fresh and the fish cookery was very good. My girlfriend had the calzone and it was so massive that everyone else in the restaurant was commenting on how good and how big it looked. I tried a bit and it was excellent. Nice dough, plenty of filling and tasty tomato sauce. Service was quick. Portion sizes were large so go on an empty belly. Excellent value for money, will return and I will recommend to family and friends."

"We had our volunteer Xmas celebration tonight at this lovely cosy pub The Xmas roast dinners were enjoyed by all . Great portions u defiantly wont leave hungry . Nothing was to much trouble great service great food great staff . "This restaurant is decent enough. The menu is good and the food we received, while not exactly what we ordered, was tasty. The only thing that prevented it from being a 4-star experience was the staff. They were talking loudly across the restaurant to each other (even though it wasn't noisy or crowded) and one staff member kept yelling at Alexa to play different dance music tracks repeatedly. It detracted from the overall dining experience. However, the prices are reasonable and the restaurant offers a nice view of the square."

"We booked ahead had the lunch outside in the lovely sunny garden ordered a local Upperton fizz to sample the local vineyard! Really good bubbles dry crisp! We were all hungry looking forward to our Sunday roast dinners , we chose chicken roast beef dinners with all the trimmings of roasties , veggies Yorkshire puddings. Unfortunately the roast chicken dinners had been waiting for us … it was hard to cut everything incl the veg they had no cauliflower cheese left so the “ extra veg” was leeks in butter which actually was the only thing easy to cut eat! Soo soo disappointing the beef was defin underdone even though the order had specifically been requested to mid well done … we did hear that this has happened before re the cauliflower/ cheese ! An order was given for desserts that was the best food of the whole meal Bakewell tart with cherry’s that had been marinaded in cherry liqueur really good with vanilla ice cream ! However I very much doubt if we will be back not happy customers at all !"

"What a beautiful apartment this is. Finished to a really high standard and very comfortable, stocked with everything for a nice breakfast in the morning. Superb shower and kept really clean. Out in lovely countryside but not to far from civilisation and really quiet so slept well. Lovely staff that were really helpful with our arrangements as we were coming in late from a wedding. Though top end we used our club card vouchers so a real treat."
