"If I could give -5* I would. Even 1 star is too high for this place. We went for a family occasion in a party of 20. We had pre ordered the meals to make it easier. Upon arrival. They had missed out my meal. After everyone was served they said it would be 6 minutes if I would still like the Sirloin. I said sure no problem. 20 minutes later I had to go to the bar to get an update and I was told it'll be there in a few minutes. At this point everyone else was finishing their meals. I did not go out to eat on my own so I said I think I'll leave it as I don't really want to sit there eating on my own. I then walked back to the table. They then brought the food over to the table minutes later (while everyone is watching us) and said I'd still have to pay for it as it's now cooked. At this point I was so annoyed and didn't want to cause a scene I said whatever I don't care about the money. They said they can pack it for me to take it away. I then had to pay £28 for a sirloin which was 25 minutes late and cold in a take away box. I could not believe it! Would never go to any of these pubs ever again! Atrocious service from staff and management who lack any customer skills or understanding!"

"it is a warm welcoming pub in a light location, with free parking on the street, including disabled parking. decoration is a mix of traditional and modern, with outside seats, various parts of the pub give different atmosphere, great place to come together for every occasion. half the type of pub has steps that have warn stickers and labels, but still a little dangerous with drinks and with children and /or older, but there are many pills and seats before u enter the stage areas. toilets are above, not sure whether any disabled toilets below? good and drinks menus are decent, big teller and tasty eating, have a series of everything for all, including vegan menu, as I don't vegan, so can not comment on the menu and eat. very little staff in the night we went (service) the waitress was really friendly, polite helpful and well maintained for all our needs. pub in these days closes quite early, we were told in 2130, but we stayed until 2200, since it was quite a big one together at night outside. one of the most important things is a dog friendly pub, has water dishes and cookies for dogs. overall it is a beautiful pub"

"I went here this morning after a walk with my dog. I sat outside when the dog was with me. the staff was nice and friendly and the coffee was so good, I had to have two. I had a delicious sausage sandwich that quickly got out. When I came back to the second coffee, I also had a crumbcake. it was nice, but so sweet, so I had to leave half of it. I'll be back soon. the coffee and the friendly staff are well worth it."

"location and most employees pleasant. there is an older man who, when I went into the bar and got the menu, I said it was too busy to get food. another couple was served eating. possibly because they are local. we just wanted sandwiches. at least got a few drinks and then noticed that this very busy old man came out for a zigarette and then went back just to get less than 15 minutes later for another zigarette. I'm not sure, but if all the others are so busy and they have time to get out and cigs have every 15 minutes, maybe they have time for serving more even though we never got the chance to eat, I saw eating in the pub and it looked like good proportions and looked great. a person can bring the rest of the place."

"My recent visit to The Bradgate with friends and a small dog was regrettably underwhelming. Our group, consisting of four adults and a well-behaved canine, went there with the simple hope of enjoying a drink together after a walk through Bradgate Park. Upon our request for seating, we were promptly informed that the presence of our small dog precluded us from dining in the main area, which was notably almost empty at the time. We were then told that the designated dog-friendly zone, was fully booked. The size of this indoor pet-accommodating space was surprisingly limited compared to the rest of the establishment. Further exacerbating our disappointment, we noticed a table becoming available in the dog-friendly section as a group left. However, our hopes were dashed when the staff informed us that the table was reserved – a rigid stance, particularly considering our plan was for a brief visit of merely 15 to 20 minutes for a drink. We waited for a taxi for the following 15 minutes, during which time we noted that the table that had previously become available, was still available. The complete lack of flexibility or the offer of a temporary seating arrangement until the reserved party arrived was disappointing. Moreover, the interaction with the staff lacked any semblance of warmth or hospitality. We were met with a blunt and unwelcoming attitude, with no effort made to accommodate or empathise with our situation. It was disconcerting to see a customer-focused business display such indifference, especially given the conspicuous availability of seating in the larger part of the pub. In conclusion, our experience at The Bradgate was marked by rigidity and a lack of customer service. The inability to adapt to a simple request, coupled with an unwelcoming demeanour, overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable experience at the pub."
