"Cake here for lunch with friends on a Saturday afternoon and had an absolutely lush coronation Chicken sandwich served with crisps, a side salad and coleslaw. The menu had such a wide choice and the prices were also really decent! The staff were friendly and I love the way the place is decorated. I would definitely come here again."

"We had a take away order from here recently. We ordered sausage and mash which contained hard mashed potato, no peas or gravy which was advertised on the menu. The lasagne we had was very dry and very tough to eat. The steak pie was...enjoyed by those who had it but that was the only highlight of our takeaway. Would not recommend getting a takeaway meal from here in the future."

"Maybe we were a bit optimistic trying to find a pub roast in Llanelli after 8 on a bank holiday Monday, but, whatever the reason, we kept drawing a blank. My wife wasn 't keen on my idea of a pizza in the hotel room, and nor was I on taking out a mortgage to eat in the hotel restaurant. It was starting to look like there 'd be tears before bedtime (from me, obviously), but Jenny managed to establish the existence of a Thai restaurant open in downtown Llanelli, so off we went – and how very lucky we struck. Lovely food, at reasonable prices, and very generously apportioned. We had pad thai, a sweet sour pork dish, and coconut rice. Interesting to note that this was my first visit to Llanelli in 50 years – my last being just before my grandparents left Wales and moved up to Sussex to be near the rest of the family in the early '70s. Much has changed in the interim – not all for the better, by the look of things, but this restaurant is without doubt an extremely positive development. Thanks for one of the best Thai meals I 've had anywhere."

"As a family we decided to order food on Just Eat so we could have a nice meal watching the rugby at home. We paid for delivery but when food arrived items were missing. I immediately contacted the Ali Raj who said they had no delivery drivers and that I would have to collect the missing items from the restaurant (totally defeating the object of having our food delivered) I told the restaurant that this was not acceptable and the female member of staff offered us a full refund. After a few days still no refund received and after four phone calls I finally managed to speak to the same woman. She now told me that I had to apply to Just Eat for a full refund so I asked why she hadn’t told me this initially and after some shocking and exceptionally rude behaviour from the female who called me a liar saying that she explained this to me during my first phone call which I can categorically say she didn’t. I then contacted Just Eat and to our disappointment have been advised that refunds need to be requested within 72 hours. I have been made aware that some restaurants could be exploiting this rule. Having run a successful restaurant myself I will NEVER return to this restaurant again."

"We are regular customers of Avo's because of the great food , friendly service and general ambiance of the venue. We generally call in for their lovely breakfasts but today we had the most delicious dinners, the beef was scrumptious and cut like butter, the turkey was really tasty too. If you're a fan of the good old tried and tested favourites such as pea and ham soup, ham and parsley sauce, cawl etc...these dishes are also on offer on a regular basis besides their set menu. Takeaways are also available!"
