"Racist Portuguese guy said he is from Madeira named Emmanuel DID not even acknowledge my existence or say hello and started to talking ONLY to my girl and kept going at it as if am not there. she looked surprised why is he not saying hello to me. Worst place I have ever been to. (obviously had to put him in his place) No care at all of their social surroundings. Rude unprofessional staff (Portuguese guy)."

Food was OK. Chips weren't to our liking. Service was quite poor. Had a flat drink brought to us and waiter made us feel guilty about it. Brought a replacement, however. Took our order then we never seen him again.

My children and I visited the restaurant for dinner. We were greeted and served by Laura who is such a friendly and professional waitress. The food is tasty and price is affordable. Recommended! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20

We’re really enjoyed here and sure will be back! Jack served us, he has a great customer service, asked for allergy if we have, also checked if we’re happy with our meals. To be fair all staffs here seems super nice and attentive. Ps.Highly recommend Cheesecake and Tiramisu! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30

Me and my kids went for lunch in frankie bennys today and the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. "I have to say I was very surprised how bad my experience was with the Spice Merchant was. It started very badly with the food taking two hours to be delivered. This was after several calls over that period where we were told that the food was on its way and should be with us in five minutes. That was a bad start but the food was just as bad. The only saving grace were the starters of chicken lamb lollipops which were tasty. The main courses were all very disappointing, lacking spice and flavour. They were also swimming in oil. The breads were also flavourless. I don’t like to give reviews like this but in this case it is well deserved especially as it was extremely expensive. £150 for five people. For that kind of money it should have been allot better. Worst curry I have had I recent memory! Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40"

The staff were friendly and very attentive, and the food was delicious, particularly the starters. A big thank you to everyone at the Mediterranean for ensuring that we had a fantastic Christmas Day! "The food was delicious. I am accustomed to fast food restaurants where my meal usually takes over 5 minutes to prepare. However, at this restaurant, my lunch was served promptly. I was able to relax and enjoy my meal without feeling rushed. Overall, everything was great and everyone was friendly and smiling."

"A planned and very much looked forward to lunch left us feeling underwhelmed. The menu was amazing we had already chosen before we arrived) we had already also recommended the place to our South African friends before arrival as the photos and menu looked fabulous. Unfortunately, as we have found in other places over the summer, the service was way under par. We waited ages to be seated even though we had a reservation, I had to find someone to seat us in the end. We waited ages for someone to take our order , again I had to coax someone over. The restaurant was not understaffed but full of students and teenagers badly managed hanging around not really doing their job. In the catering trade myself and having 2 teenage daughters who work in hospitality whilst at uni , the staff need to managed and trained better. One was walking around with an iced coffee whilst we were without drinks. I think when the customers feel like they’re in the way and not welcomed as we did, they tend not to return regardless of how amazing the food is."
