"Stopped here for dinner after finding several local restaurants closed (presumably for the Swiss National Day?). A burger with fries and side salad was 25 Euro. A kid's meal of cold ham slices and fries was 10 Euro. Both were tasty and probably on par for prices in Switzerland. Soda is more expensive than beer. If you are trying to keep to a budget, I would recommend any of the hotel dinner buffets that probably provide more value for money. This restaurant filled up and there was no outdoor seating left by 1830 at night - inside is very hot because the fire is on. It would be cozy in the winter but in the summer, try to get a seat outside. The staff does not speak English and the menu is not in English - not a problem but just be forewarned that you will need to figure it out on your own if you don't speak French."

"The stars belong to the service which was welcoming and friendly. Sorry to say that the food was gas station food although the vegetables were fresh. I respect the support of domestic and local food producers (high prices in Switzerland), but this food felt like no love of food was involved at all.."

"Hello, I would like to thank with great gratitude the owners of the Relais de Vuargny, today Sunday, the mountain restaurants being closed or full, I thought I would not be able to eat all evening, or go back down further towards Aigle the neighboring town. But thanks to their magnificent welcome and their big hearts, they did not hesitate for a second to open their restaurant just for me. I had a great time with them and exceptional homemade food. "Ich war gerade mit einer Gruppe von Freunden in Davinda, die einen Geburtstag feierten, und ich bin immer noch schockiert darüber, was passiert ist. Nachdem ich einen Auftrag zurückgeschickt bekommen hatte, dass sie sich geirrt hatten, erzählte mir einer meiner Freunde, dass die extrem laute Musik ihr weh tat. Ich ging dann zum Manager und fragte ihn höflich, ob es möglich sei, die Musik ein wenig abzulehnen. Er antwortete grob, dass ich sowieso nicht hier sein sollte (was? Und dass die Musik für die Schüler der Hotelschule ist. Die Musik war wirklich so laut, dass es unmöglich war, ohne zu schreien ein Gespräch zu führen und ich beschloss zu gehen. Nachdem ich ihn höflich gebeten hatte, meine Bestellung zu stornieren, antwortete er, dass er mich sowieso nicht hier haben will, dass ich aus seiner Einrichtung raus muss und dass er mich nicht wieder sehen will. Meine Freunde und ich gingen alle in das gleiche Internat und sie sagten mir, dass er, nachdem ich gegangen war, sagte, er werde dem Schulleiter diese Mutter melden.Es ist inakzeptabel, einen zahlenden Kunden zu behandeln, der nichts als nett zu ihm war (zumindest bevor er mich aufforderte zu gehen , und ich rate dringend davon ab, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen."
