The food was excellent. It was a great experience for a family meal. Audrey was such a lovely host and made us feel extremely welcome. We will definitely come back when we’re back in Scotland. Thanks again, highly recommend!!

Gala Tandoori is not in the liveliest section of High Street but do not pass this by. Exceptional Indian food here. One of their specialties is Balti cooking (NE India, Hindu origin), which we’d never had. The Balti Garlic Masala was fresh and delicious a wonderfully balanced dish. Very clean restaurant, btw. And friendly, welcoming service. Great break from a string of Scottish/English fare.

First time at this lovely family restaurant. It will not be the last. The food was excellent. All freshly prepared and great variety. The nan bread was sublime. The tarka dahl was also amazing. We were delighted with everything. Dad was cooking and mum was front of house with the teenage kids helping with service. We chatted with them and it was so nice to be in a family restaurant. I asked for a sweet lassi to drink and although it was not on the menu they were happy to make me one and it was excellent. To top it all, it was very reasonable priced. Highly recommended.
