Now, I want to share the experience, but we came to a closed pub and then had to find somewhere else to eat that they drove all away...not happy!

I wanted to share my experience, but when we arrived at the pub, we found it was closed. We had to find another place to eat after driving all that way. Not a happy experience!

One of the best pubs around, set in lovely countryside, very good menu and always enjoy the excellent food. Rustic but a very high standard decor, cosy interior. Friendly staff and good service.

the service and eating were okay. they brought out a false desolation and forgot the desert of someone. the chairs were tightly packed and being back with another group was unpleasant. eating was okay, but not writing home. the staff was friendly and friendly. they did not accept cards on the day and had to transfer money over the money.

The service and food were both decent. They mistakenly served a fake dessert and forgot another dessert. The seating was cramped and being seated near another group was uncomfortable. The food was average and nothing to rave about. The staff was welcoming and polite. It was odd that they only accepted cash that day and required patrons to transfer money, but overall, it was an okay experience.

Went to the Honest Miller for Christmas lunch and was not disappointed. Food was fantastic and the staff were a pleasure. Food was well presented and served in a timely, but in no way hurried manner. Beer selection was good and the location is great. I am looking forward to a few nice summer evenings here as the beer garden is a nice place to watch the world not go by quiet location). Make the effort to visit!!!

My family and I had a wonderful meal last Sunday at this restaurant. We particularly enjoy the carvery, as the meat is always tender and the vegetables are delicious, especially the cauliflower cheese. The desserts are also fantastic. The only downside was that there was no option for cheese and cookies on the menu, which was disappointing for one member of our group who prefers savory over sweet. Despite this, we have visited this restaurant several times for lunch in the past year and have always enjoyed our experience.

I visited here with my family on a Saturday evening, the food was fantastic we cant believe we haven't tried here before seeing as we live 10 minutes away , I tried the local wine which was lovely. The childrens menu had a good selection we find some restaurants offer only a very basic childs menu and the food was excellently presented on wooden boards and cooked to perfection. Staff were very attentive even though the restaurant was fully booked, and very friendly, overall we had a lovely evening in a cosy welcoming venue, thankyou we will be back!

I booked through OpenTable, but called them to amend. They had no record of our booking, so do check that they have your booking. The young lady was very helpful and booked my group in again, albeit over an hour later. However, she did not mention that they have live music in the bar dining area on a Sunday and as this is only a small space. Beware if you are hoping to talk to fellow guests! Luckily being booked later than originally planned did mean that we didn't have long to wait for the music to end. The music was pleasant enough, but made it impossible for us to communicate with each other whilst they were playing. We all plumped for the Sunday carvery and it was delicious and excellent...
