"my man and I had booked the winter offer for the last week and were from Friday service in the restaurant rößle. it was our first stay there, and we can already say that it wasn't our last one. the cordiality of the host, the family atmosphere, the beautiful, quiet room the cleanliness, the eating, the breakfast, the service in the local, everything was simply great! we felt all around well and could do a lot thanks to the good weather. with many beautiful impressions we are back home and look forward to the next holiday at family herrmann"

"We booked a table for Saturday evening at and arrived on time. After taking a few pics outside of the stunning facade we went inside and were seated at a fairly large table. The interior was just as stunning as the outside being a...traditional mountain Gasthof. The place was quite busy with a lot of families dining and had a homely feel to it which was good. The waiter greeted us and gave us menus etc but then rushed off being obviously very busy. After around we began to feel a bit neglected as we had not been offered any drinks and could not seem to attract any attention from the waiter. Just as we were contemplating leaving he appeared asked if we were ready to order? We said yes but would also like some drinks too! Another mins later the drinks arrived followed shortly after by our starters. The wild garlic soup was excellent! Between the five of us we tried the venison, pork, salmon, steak chicken curry German style! To sum up, the food was superb but let down by poor service. Ok the place was busy but we should have been offered drinks upon being seated. Would definitely go back but maybe in the week rather than weekend. Also, just a reminder that like a lot of the other restaurants/Gasthof's in the area they are closed on Mondays."

"Big praise to this great team!!! We called from my rehabilitation clinic to reserve 2 places at short notice. It worked perfectly. We were warmly welcomed. We enjoyed delicious coffee and cake. We wanted to get some fresh air and were able to reserve two more places for dinner and we were even more happy about it Excellent sausage salad and blackcurrant spritzer. Beforehand there was a delicious greeting from the kitchen. Very nice and not intrusive staff. The staff also had very nice interactions with each other, which I would also like to praise very much. Big plus! We would be happy to come back to you from the Kinzigtal"

"A secluded courtyard, beautifully renovated: the dining room has been modernized with a lot of taste and made bright. Nevertheless, you still notice that you are in the Black Forest. There are long tables on the terrace for hungry and thirsty hikers/cyclists and much more The menu is small, but very regional in selection. I don't usually eat a burger because of the buns, but here's a crunchy bun from the bakery in the valley Homemade elderberry syrup for a refreshing drink, which thankfully tastes far removed from the scary syrup mixtures from the supermarket. The Hofeis from Schwärzenbach rounds it off perfectly! Bravo for having the courage to get the old house back on track"

"we chose the gasthof to the robe in titisee waldau for two nights during our short holiday in the black forest. above all the location: the gasthof is located at a small place belonging to the titise. a bit far and quiet with a beautiful view of meadow and mountain. within 10 minutes you reach the titisee new city with shopping and a bit heavier. next to the restaurant there are other restaurants, apartments and other restaurants. a parking space is located directly in front of the entrance. From the outside is the building in typical black forest style, rustic and somewhat older that goes on in the interior. exactly the right ambiente for a stay in the black forest. there is a main entrance in the lower area as well as a entrance over the large terrace, which is reached by a staircase. before they check in, they have to ring and it is opened by the friendly staff. later they can use both inputs and use the key they receive. the nice man who has received us has accompanied us in the gasthof the stairs to the reception. the staircase is a beautiful, large wooden staircase and everything is decorated in beautiful black forest style. the recipe is located in the first floor and also consists of beautiful, dark wood. After checkin we got our room key we made on the way to our room. we had the number 207, to which we got over two more steps. the wood furniture is available throughout the gas farm. to the right of the staircase was our room (a superior double room). the room consisted of a small front room with a large, spacious wood cabinet. left was the bathroom. here was the toilet, left the wash basin and in the corner the shower. the bathroom was really modern with white interieur and stone. the actual room was on the right side of the bathroom. Here we also expected a large, nicely furnished room with bed, couch, table, chairs, television and retro as well as three really large windows with magnificent views on meadow and mountain. In the evening dinner we also took us in the pension at the first night. we both took the frame. I am with kartoffels and my friend with homemade late tents. as an appetizer we have chosen a French woof suppe or a suppe. the food was really very delicious and the portions were not especially large, but in order. the dining room consists of many tables and chairs distributed throughout the room. also here are wood furniture. the breakfast in the morning we also brought to us in this room. first we did not find the buffet we booked, but a nice worker showed us the seperate room. To this end, they must go through a door and a small front place in the rear left corner to get into the additional room with breakfast buffet. the selection was really remarkable: various rolls and bread selection, homemade jams, fresh cheese, sausage, eggs, yogurt, obstsalat, vegetables, tee, coffee, juices it was really all there. it was also delicious. so they can start well the day. in the evening we used the sauna for 6€ per person. for this we had to decide an hour before the sauna is put into operation. the sauna area consists of a restroom with a couch and solarium, two showers, a dressing cabin, a toilet and a sauna itself. the check-out on the departure day was also uncomplicated and easy. we only had to pay the tourist tax as we had paid the room before from paypal. we have a bill for the end. the whole restaurant is really very clean and perfect. the stay here was really rewarded. there were also free wlan top on for guests."
