We ate there based on a recommendation from a local bar and again the next night! The schnitzel was great as were the soups, salads and of course the excellent kaiserschmarrn!! The second night they had live music. Wish they had a location near us in Long Island!

Wir waren über Silvester in Garmisch. 2x zum Abendessen in der Schranne. Trotzdem der Gasthof sehr voll war,gingen Essen und Getränke besteelungen sehr flott. DasPersonal ist mehr als freundlich,machr Späße mit!! Und nun zum Essen : Schmeckt hervorragend und Preis Leistung sind TOP. Da komm ich/wir sicher wieder mal hin !!!

We had lunch here recently. The beer is great, while our food could have been better. The rösti was ok but a bit too dry. The knödel were even dryer and too hard. The salads were good, though. Probably they are better with the meat dishes. I did appreciate that the had a vegan dish on their menu. Service is slow but friendly. Visualizza piatti

Great atmosphere . a large, open room but still buzzing . There were some local musicians at one table playing the occasional bit of traditional music.We had slow roasted pork slices which was lovely. Reasonable value for money.A shame our waitress was so unhelpful and stroppy. They were very busy and rushed off their feet but that doesn't excuse her attitude.
