"George's fish restaurant, Fish Merchants, is a standout establishment on Chiswick High Road. George has created a local gem that caters perfectly to the community. While other spots on the east end of the road attract customers for coffee and casual items during the day, George's restaurant shines as the go-to spot for dinner. We have found ourselves preferring to dine at George's rather than at the other nearby restaurants with higher price points. The menu at George's offers a variety of delicious dishes, with prices ranging from £20 to £200 per head. The staff at George's are incredibly friendly and always eager to offer their recommendations. The sounds of satisfaction that come from diners' tables, such as "oooh," "wow," and "mmmm," are a testament to the quality of the food. One standout dish we tried was a deep and flavorful curry with various types of fish that simply melted in the mouth, leaving a subtle aftertaste of cardamom. The house specialty curry was unlike anything we had tasted before, truly authentic and delicious. Another memorable dish was a tender bouillon from the specials menu that we couldn't get enough of. The seafood platter on our table was a hit, as we couldn't stop indulging in every bite. We are already looking forward to returning to George's to try more of their offerings. What sets George's apart is the fact that he doesn't hesitate to whip up a classic fish and chips dish, even if it's not listed on the menu. George's genuine hospitality and top-notch cuisine make it a must-visit spot on Chiswick High Road."

This is a hidden treasure. The freshest seafood cooked with passion and much love. Staff are amazing and George is the ultimate host. This is by far the best seafood I’ve ever tasted. This really is an experience. Recommend George’s Diner to anyone who wants quality food at reasonable prices. Love this place.

I had a lunch there and I was very surprised by the value of the meal. A full lunch for 15£ and the portion are really big. The fish and seafood were very fresh, I think I have never tasted this level of freshness in a restaurant ! The wine list is very interesting, diversified and affordable. There are some gems !

The menu may not be the most trendy, but it has a charming appeal. Additionally, there is a fish market located nearby. I wish I lived in w4 so I could enjoy this amazing food regularly. I took my wife and two dear friends for Saturday dinner to this tastefully decorated restaurant. WoW !! Great selection of fresh seafood. My Bouillabaisse was heaven in the bowl. Scallops and Calamari where cooked to perfection. Very good selection of wines and the drink of your choice were made at the bar ; Fantastic atmosphere and Exelent service. Definitely we are looking forward to go back to George's Diner.

this was our first visit in this amazing restaurant. we actually wanted to go somewhere else, and when we went past my wife, you didn't say you like the roast one. that was when I could taste it and we were there. I went for the carvery served with a great selection of fresh house made sweet. my wife is not a fan of a roast, so she went for the fish and she says that was amazing. and as desserts an excellent strawberry cheesecake. we wanted somewhere quiet and elegant. the spaciousness of the place feels very relaxing and sensitive. the venue has a great job. the service was excellent. the whole afternoon was lovely and a wonderful change from our usual West London Hunts, which we cannot wai...
