"My partner went out to pick up some vegetables in batter with sweet and sour sauce with Jasmine rice. They were told there was no batter available, so my partner asked if plain vegetables would suffice, to which they agreed. However, what was brought back was disappointing to both of us. Instead of Jasmine rice, we received plain white rice that tasted ordinary. The dish consisted of undercooked peppers, a bunch of overcooked onions, and no other vegetables. We were left wondering why it was so difficult to properly cook some carrots, broccoli, peas, or mushrooms."

This restaurant does not serve authentic Thai food. If you are seeking traditional Thai recipes, this is not the place to come. The ingredients used are not as they should be.

If you are in Inverness and craving for Indian or Thai food, then this place will serve you very well... Great menu spreading across different parts of India... and the food tastes quite like the way anyone is used to eating back in India... Highly recommended. We went there twice during our short stay.

We had been loyal customers to this restaurant for many years but after several highly disappointing experiences it is clear the standards of the food and the customer service are in steep decline. We were treated with dishonesty, disrespect and wild unprofessionalism and will not be using this restaurant again. There are plenty of other places in Inverness to get a very nice meal so, from our family to yours, don't have your special occasion ruined like ours was. Go elsewhere.

The Thai and Indian food at this restaurant is excellent. We tried the Pad Thai and the chicken and chilli masala, both of which had fantastic flavors. One thing to keep in mind is that their medium spice level is quite hot. The naan bread was also excellent, with a tender texture, a slight crunch at the edges, and a moist interior. The restaurant has plenty of seating and everything is made fresh, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. Bonus points for playing Bollywood music videos.

"Oh, what a day we had at The White House for my auntie’s 88th! It was pure magic, right from the off. The team there couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us all feel right at home in the heart of Scotland. Now, let’s gab about the food it was out of this world! We started with gluten free fish n chips, and let me tell you, it was as good as any chippy by the sea – crispy, golden, and just packed with flavor. The venison steak and beef short rib? Cooked just how you’d want them, tender and full of taste. The gluten free burgers were a hit too, so juicy and well seasoned. For pudding, we had these scoops of ice cream, smooth as you like, and an apple crunch cheesecake that was simply to die for. But it was our server, Anastasia, who really made our day. She was a wee star – always there with a smile, quick with a recommendation, and knew her menu inside out. I barely noticed our water bottle was empty, and whoosh, there she was with a full one. That’s service for you! The atmosphere in The White House was just as warm and inviting as you’d hope for. It felt like sitting in a cosy wee pub in the Highlands, with all the charm and friendliness you’d expect. So, if you’re ever in the mood for a meal that’s as satisfying as a wee dram on a cold night, head to The White House. It’s not just eating; it’s a proper Scottish experience, full of heart and soul"
