Restaurant was very busy but we didn’t wait that much for our food…fish and chips was really tasty, our waitress was super fast and helpful.

The service was excellent and the food was good. While the cappuccino could have used a bit more flavor, my avocado toast with extra mushrooms was delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast bap, even without the egg. Overall, I’d give it a solid 4 stars.

My expectations were pretty low from the beginning, given that it was breakfast at the airport, and they met those expectations. I ordered the veggie breakfast, and the standout was definitely the avocado. Unfortunately, the veggie sausage was cold on the inside and hard to cut. Visualizza piatti

Had the Giraffe hash which was not bad at all. For eggs Benedict they have a chilly hollandaise which makes it a bit different. Busy restaurant with queues before being seated so do allow time to wait for service and food. There isn't much choice at Terminal 5, Giraffe is not a bad option.

The burger was quite disappointing—bland and with a terrible texture. The bun was excessively dry. The salad hadn't been washed properly. I gave two stars instead of one because we found some entertainment in the drama unfolding among the front-of-house staff as they argued about a waitress's complaints regarding having to serve all the tables.

We experienced a short wait time and the food was satisfactory. However, the standout aspect was the service. Even though the restaurant was quite crowded, we were quickly attended to and received our meals within fifteen minutes. We ordered the beef burger, the giraffe special chicken wings, and coffee. I had a great experience here. We ordered and got our food in under 10 minutes and were very pleased by that. As far as airport food goes, it passes the standards for both being healthy, fun themed, and decent taste. We had a long layover the chairs were comfortable, so we sat with some tea for an hour after eating and were not rushed. We were also able to get the bill quickly when we were ready to leave. Healthy food (not greasy), good service, cute decorated space, solid 4 stars.

We had a fantastic breakfast while waiting for our flight to board. I've dined at Giraffe a few times, mostly in Kings Cross, so I was delighted to discover one at Heathrow. I enjoyed a delicious, reasonably priced breakfast featuring smoked salmon and sourdough, while my partner chose the eggs with ham, and both dishes were superb. The service was quick and friendly, even though it was quite busy. I highly recommend Giraffe for its value and freshness among all the cafes available in Terminal 5.

The food is what you would expect. However, I want to highlight the table service. We arrived early, around 5:00 AM, and were in line with about 40 other customers. Although we were second in line, we ended up being among the last to be served. It took over an hour to receive a simple breakfast, not counting the waiting time in line. This isn’t ideal if you have a flight to catch, especially when you see about 30 people who entered after you already finishing their meals. The restaurant might want to consider implementing a better system to manage this in the future. Aside from that, everything was fine. Visualizza piatti
