Glocke - Piatti

A very traditional Bavarian restaurant, very good and friendly service! It made me happy to see that lots of locals use and enjoyed the very good wine!!

ここのマウルタッシェンは素晴らしい。というか、付け合わせが最高でした。フライドオニオン、レタス、ニンジン、キュウリ、キャベツにヒマワリの種。これで€9.90です。コスパ最高です。WEINGUTなので、ビールではなくフランケンワインで乾杯。大満足の夕食となりました。本当にAuf wiedersehen!!です。

We loved the cashew pesto spaghetti dish. I would have loved it if there were more options. A lot of people comment on the price , but I get everything in town was a bit pricey. Visualizza piatti

We had the vegan Pasta with chanterelle and without. It was okay, but 17,90 € for a simple pasta is quite a lot. They should think about adding a second vegan dish to their menu, can't hurt.

We had a nice lunch in welcoming surroundings - just what we needed for a busy day seeing the sights. Its easy to try a little of everything. Highly recommend the streudel for dessert, as well as local white wine.

This restaurant is located right across the street from the picture postcard location of Rothenburg. The building is centuries old with lots of character. Service was very friendly and comfortable for us English speakers. The potato soup, and sausage lunch was excellent. The apple strudel was wonderful. A good choice for us. Visualizza piatti

Sadly, I had to find out yesterday that the food quality in the "Glocke" is gravely lacking compared to the year before. For the now served convenience food the prices are definitely too high. Also, the restaurant isn't vegetarian friendly any more. Example: Bacon in the tiny Semmelknödel. The one given star is for the real good Tucher beer draft.

I found the food to be a bit tasteless. I had the white asparagus with hollandaise sauce which was in season however either it wasn't cooked enough or it was not good asparagus. Then I had the rolled beef which was recommended to me but was tough. The spaetzle was tasteless. It's in a good location but you can't really see the outside scenery because the windows are blurred glass.

Qui eût cru qu'il existât à Rothenburg exposé à un certain tourisme de masse un tel havre gastronomique avec un rapport qualité-prix si exceptionnel? Les charcuteries sont faites maison et ça se sent - elles sont succulentes - et la dégustation de vins blancs franconiens est à 5,60 € (5x5cl)...très bonnes Maultaschen également. Petit bémol sur la crème de vin en dessert: c'est bon mais ce n'est comparable à un zabaione au Marsala servi chaud. Personnel aux petits soins! Visualizza piatti
