Good Chef - Piatti

I visited this restaurant with friends and ordered takeout. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back.

I recently ordered Chinese takeout from this restaurant and had a great experience. The staff was friendly when I called to place my order, the food arrived hot, and it was the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. I will definitely be returning.

We have used the new Good Chef 3 times now, the food quality is excellent the special curry is the best ever, the bbq ribs are top end. I ordered the food on the phone and it was on time to what I was told on the phone when ordering. The family are really nice and helpful keep it up !! Thanks again David Visualizza piatti

If you walk in to order don't bother. I went in to order and was asked to wait 4 times while the phone was answered and orders taken. By the five time I was getting annoyed but was told that phone orders take priority. Suffice to say I walked out and would not return due to the poor customer service. Big mistake good chef I was ordering for 8 people.

Always disappointed when ordering chinese food. Wasn't expecting much from this place but what a fantastic surprise. Crispy chilli beef that was both crispy and spicy, great curry sauce, the chow mein was really good (according to the mrs) and the kids loved the duck so much they're asking to come back all the time. We'll be back here again next time we're in the area. Highly recommended.

First takeaway from here under the new management. Duck with plum pineapple was good, ribs also good which are a sign of a good Chinese for us! Rice and noodles were a little under- seasoned however I prefer it to be so whilst others in the family preferred more flavour. Nice that the chow menu wasn’t swimming in oil and the beef was tender. Sweet and sour sauce could be a little thicker but Bbq sauce was good. All in all pleased with our meal and will be returning. Just a shame no deliveries...yet! Visualizza piatti

This is our first visit since the re-opening. Wow, our meal was fantastic. We ordered vermicelli Singapore noodles (requested spicy), salt and chilli chicken, sweet/sour chicken balls and chilli chips (know as a spice bag in Dublin). Each dish was fantastic and tasty with the perfect amount of spice. I am tired of getting a Chinese take away and it’s just sweet gelatinous rubbish. This is not the case here. The sweet and sour sauce you actually can taste the sour. It was a welcome change We will be back!

Had an enjoyable take out supper. Pork and mushroom, house chow mein and sweet and sour chicken balls, just wish could have had some pineapple with the balls that’s how we like it back in Canada. Very clean looking establishment, just one comment would have liked an acknowledgement when we arrived to pick up our order, busy in the kitchen but just stick a head out and say “Will be with you shortly.” We could have been walk ins and standing around for a few minutes staring at the four walls could put customers off.

Just like many others in the area, I was thrilled to see Good Chef reopen. I went in and placed my order, noticing that the takeout shop had new management. The staff were friendly, but when I got home, I was disappointed with the food. The crispy seaweed was not crispy and the batter on the chicken balls was too thick and not crispy. I decided to give Good Chef another try a few weeks later, but unfortunately, the food was still disappointing for the same reasons. It's unlikely that I will be returning to Good Chef again.
