The new one is too expensive. food is nothing special and for this price I ate much better in other places spending less

One of my favorite Chinese place, fast service, staffs who can speak Chinese, English, German and Vietnamese.Nice food, price acceptable, nice location

Traditional Chinese Cantonese restaurant with high prices and hit or miss food. Depending on what your order, the dish can be okay, but more often than not,..

Chicken was ok. Pork rolls were inedible. Worst thing: staff. Really cocky. Rude. They speak really poor English and behave as if non German speakers were not even worth a “hello”. Never again

This was a good place. A lot of the customers were Asian. The clientele were primarily locals and the staff had very limited knowledge of English. The steamed dumplings were as close to Hong Kong as it gets. The other dishes were authentic as well....If we didn't know we were in Berlin and the people speaking German, we could easily have been in any number of places in Hong Kong, Mainland China or Singapore Visualizza piatti

We have been here regularly in the past years, and recently we also tried ordering food from this place. The food is wellprepared, and the menu—especially the Cantonese part—goes far beyond the usual Germanized food that you find in other Asian restaurants in Berlin. Staff...is very friendly, and the notsospectacular design of this place is exactly what we like. It's all about the food. By the way, starchef Tim Raue likes going here from time to time

Good Friends is a classic in Berlin West and it has maintained its high level of creativity and excellence over the years. The interior is not very charming and at our table of only one had a set of plates and bowels without a...single chip, but this is compensated for by the friendly, professional service, extensive menu and excellent food and drink. The restaurant can be noisy at times, but real Berliners know what to do: talk louder. They have a surprisingly good and fairly priced wine list and lots and lots of options for vegans and vegetarians.Not cheap but the food is worth what you pay for it

I know why are we eating Chinese food in Berlin. Well sometimes you just need a change of pace. My father in law first came to Good friends years ago and he regularly returns every to years when he visits Berlin. Not...much has changed although the decor got a recent upgrade. The Chinese is standard Cantonese fare with a bit of other international dishes which caters to a Western audience. The sukiyaki dishes are more chop suey than sukiyaki but we wanted good ole comfort food! We were six for dinner on a busy Friday night and it was great that we called ahead for a reservation.
